CIA and NSA combed through masses of past intercepted transmissions, searching for anything that would lead them to those responsible. Burma, Thailand, Laos -- three countries within the Golden Triangle -- were known to make yaba, a potent energy pill that had now become a killer. Grant Stevens and Team Alpha Tango -- all former Navy SEALs -- are about to move forward with the training facility when they receive a call from State. All plans are put on hold. Admiral Torrinson has specifically requested the Team for the mission. Who was involved? Where would the op lead the Team? Both were open-ended questions. And as with any mission, well designed plans could go south in a heartbeat. For Alpha Tango, this op would substantiate that as fact.

Spectacular! Just when you think you've read it all you get a new surprise! A. T. has another action packed mission reuniting with Admiral Tomlinson aboard his ship. Men are dying from pills meant to do exactly that. Its up to A. T. to find the culprits. There is a special surprise at the end of this book, its really a mind blower! Spectacular! Silent Vengeance is the first Grant Stevens book that I've read from the series. I'd have to admit that I learned some Navy speak and facts about aircraft carriers and crew responsibilities, so from that point, I thank the author for the education. The story itself is easy to read and moves right along at a decent pace. It was also nice to witness a seal operation first hand - I was intrigued by their tactics, attention to detail and the amount of information that is readily available in planning Silent Vengeance is the first Grant Stevens book that I've read from the series. The story is also about camaraderie and the shared brotherhood that the team AT members experience, something difficult to explain, but fully understood by those who have fought against an enemy side by side. I recommend Silent Vengeance to anyone interested in black ops missions and military operations. Good job Jamie Fredric! John Podlaski, author Cherries - A Vietnam War Novel

Again? Jamie Frederic delivered a suspenseful, intriguing story. Once you earn a membership of the Navy Seals you are always a Seal. A member of the team and one of the brotherhood. As a Seal Grant Stevens has to face head on and honestly the consequences of his decisions; personally and professionally. And then there is his family... I really loved this book! Jamie Frederic has done it again. K Agle 3-16-15

Silent Vengeance (Grant Stevens & Team AT #9) Grant and team AT doing what they do best. Fredric takes you onboard the ship, copter, and the action as Grant and team go after drug makers and distributors in the far east. You get a glimpse of the future with a bit of an intro to Super 8 training plans and the training site itself. Thanks for another great read.

Silent vengeance Second of this series that I have read and will probably be the last. This one was written better than the first I read but it still had the excess drivel that filled the first. Jesse Ventura would have been a good model for the hero of the series.
