Jessie and Silas are slowly moving along with their relationship, inside the BDSM club and outside. Cory and Devin are moving on and going to the next step. They want the American Dream, the house, the kids, the everything that comes with marriage. Silas wants it too, with Jessie. Salinger wants Jessie, but he is being a gentleman and giving her space. He is waiting on the sidelines for her to stumble and pick her up. After this book, I'm Team Salinger. Only because Silas is too much for me. He gets angry too quick, he gets jealous and possessive to quick. Everything is too quick with him. Salinger is patient. I'm shocked that more people haven't read these books. SHOCKED! They are good BDSM books. Nothing over the top and they have a good story to go with it. Which makes it even better. Sex and a good plot - win win!! Do yourself a favor and pick up this series.

First, if you haven’t read book one, 1462 South Broadway, put down that coffee (wine, margarita, tequila- no judgment here), and get to it. The book gods will NOT be happy, and trust me, you don’t want to piss them off. In book two, 720 Linden Street, author KC Decker proves once again why she’s destined for stardom. She was born for this gig, and every page is a testament to that. Her writing is charming, energetic and effortless, like a conversation with the best gal pal you’ve ever had, a perfect juxtaposition to the unusual story lines and gasp-out-loud plot twists (I legitimately gasped out loud several times). And 720 Linden Street sill brings the heat, ATOMIC LEVELS of heat that will melt your panties off and have you frantically reaching to your nightstand for… (cough, cough, wink) a glass of water, but be warned, this story is off the chain (I almost called out of work due to the emotional stress). If you had 10 guesses, you wouldn’t even come close to figuring out the shenanigans that unfold in this one, because Decker steers clear of the clichéd plot twists the genre has become known for. I have no idea how this is going to play out, but I’ll be perched on the edge of my seat until book three comes out. I’m down to read anything this woman writes- a birthday card, a to do list, a post-it, just please keep ‘em coming.

Salinger is plunging full steam ahead into the BDSM world and has shocked Jessie. Jessie can't help herself and finds herself curious and wants the details of his escapades. Devin has revealed his hopes and plans for him and Corey. One of his hopes is pinned on Jessie. She has no answer for him right now. I loved, loved, loved reading this. This is a must read. I highly recommend it. I received an Advanced Readers Copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I'm giving the 2 stars, but really it deserves 4 stars for writing and hot sex, and 1 star for the H being an asshole. I am really disappointed, as the story had much promise, there were some really good development scenes, and the various sexual situations were hot and inventive. *** Trigger warning for rape *** (how is this not mentioned anywhere?) I really liked the first book, as the sex was kinky but not based on pain. But I had this niggling concern that Silas was a jackass. Jessie does a few things to show her growing love for him, and he rejects them coldly and selfishly. As a supposedly experienced Dom, he is beyond foolish and unfeeling. It gets much worse, and the book ends with a "to be continued" (view spoiler)[ after he ruins everything (hide spoiler)] . Someone will have to give me a very strong reason to read the 3rd book.

This is the second book in the series and I do recommend reading them in order for better enjoyment. The story is fast-paced paced with loads of drama, the twist and turns leave you shocked as you follow Jessie on her sexual journey. Who will when her heart? Loved this read. The characters and the story draw you and don’t let go. Looking forward to more in the series.

Despite this being about Jessie there are some beautiful and emotional stories that are going on around her and Silas that it's hard not to like this book as we continue to see more of them develop. I know this one has been banned on Amazon due to the nature of a part of this book but for me, although it was difficult to read, it wasn't so much about the sexual assault but more about how things happened and were described after. K C Decker did brilliantly introducing us to her world of 1462 South Broadway and I was excited to see a different portrayal of a BDSM club, but I felt somewhere along the lines, it was less about the values Silas had been adamant on in the first book and did something that was far out of character, it was hard to align. I'm aware that K.C. Decker was probably aiming for us to see Silas in a differing light but, as an owner of a club with values he firmly believed in and stuck to, for what happened to have happened was WAY off the mark. I also felt that yes, Jessie struggled with her trauma and it was very raw and emotional but the 'reunion' seemed sudden and again out of context for the characters and how this should/would play out. That being said, I am falling more in love with Salinger and K C. Decker did a brilliant job of providing us with the challenge on whose team we should be on! I also love Devin and his huge personality but also the vulnerability that is being shown as he and Corey think more to their future together. I don't understand why this has been banned - I have certainly read far worse and harder to read works that are still available on Amazon. That being said, this isn't really one you can skip over as it has massive plot details that will continue to thread through the next books - but I think on K.C. Decker's website you can get this one and for me, it still is worth reading and continuing with the series.

Will Jessie ruin what she has with Silas This is my 2nd book by the author and in the Jessie Hayes series. Jessie and Silas get into a groove of spending time with Silas’ daughter and discuss Jessie’s limits. Add in some unexpected news for Jessie’s roommate, Silas’ jealous business partner at 1462 and the plot twists keep you entertained. But will Salinger, Jessie’s work partner be the cause of another misunderstanding? You have to read to find out.

I just binge read through the first four Jessie Hays books and I’m still having hot flashes. Woah Nelly is this ever hot. Not a book I’d give to any impressionable girl but for me? Scrumptious. But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises. These books definitely deserve it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that this series of books is most definitely one to read, and it is easy to highly recommend.

Then I consider my feelings for the H and realize I don’t really know much about him, he’s there but only really as the h’s toy. There was a situation (I won’t say what it was or who was involved so as not to give it away) and I couldn’t help but think that 1. The h once again shows she’s weak, ugh! 2. The H is showing he’s a very weak man, I don’t like weak men! The way the situation was written was not in line with any man who isn’t weak. No thanks! The books claim to be the softer side of Doms, but there’s no real dom here, he’s simply play acting, or maybe he’s taking the role as the third in the relationship-the h, her own ego and self-pity, and then the H. I will be reading the other 2 books, but only as a punishment to myself for buying before reading a freebie from an author unknown to me. That’s ONLY if I can get through it. If you like characters with no development, a h who thinks more with her tits and ego than any educated woman should, and a man who wants to pretend to be a dom, this series may be for you.

The author, KC Decker, describes how the relationship between Silas (+Ruby) and Jessie deepens in spite of Silas’ co-worker Parker and some misunderstanding of Silas about Jessie’s actions on a photo-shoot and in her relationship with Salinger. Also interesting and insightful is the story about the relationship between Jessie, her housemates and the attitude of Devin’s parents. All this interspersed with hot sex scenes between Jessie and Silas. So, again a well written page turner ending with a cliffhanger, the book was a pleasure to read. R. Huiszoon.

Fun, but Different. Different than 1462. For the longest I couldn't figure out why KC had named 720 the way she did, other than to keep all 4 books with a numbered title.
