It can be difficult for both parents and children when jobs take them away from each other. The little girl is this story understands that her mother's work can take her far away and is important but she still misses her and is sad when she is gone long. Beautifully illustrated and easy to understand prose share how one mother shared a way they could be part of each others days even when Mom is not physically home.

The daughter misses her father who is in the military. This story is about how the mother explains to the child that being lonely is okay- and he will be back soon. Very comforting story for those affected by military separation.
