Interesting how this book published 35 years ago describes Ghanaian politics and politicians in ways that are more than familiar! Does this mean we haven't made that much progress?

Genius material I believe every politician must read this book before perusing and every one else before voting blindly for them. A vivid combination of wit, humour, a dash of romance and naughtiness, and a sizeable amount of vivaciousness

It was an interesting book about Ghanaian politics after colonialism. Obviously we were grappling with our new found freedom and politicians thought there could do anything. In hindsight from this book and others like it like A man of the People by Chinua Achebe, I believe coup detats saved Ghana from becoming another North Korea, Libya, Uganda or any other country where the fundamental human right is wantonly disregarded.

In Money Galore, everyone has something to gain and looks out for themselves first. It is an interesting book centered chiefly on Politics and Corruption, and irregularly on deception, dishonesty and immorality.
