When first browsing through this book - actually: leaflet - my spontaneous reaction was: Wha...bu...whhngya?!?! Look... I could have lived with a leaflet sized book containing 30ish pictures. What I have problems with are the ridiculously extreme pixelation of many images and lack of variation. See, Ms. Eddows computer skills might have been impressive twenty years ago but this? This is...I can't even. On top of that the same handful of pictures of Bundy's are used over and over...and over. What I have problems with are the ridiculously extreme pixelation of many images and lack of variation. See, Ms. Eddows computer skills might have been impressive twenty years ago but this? This is...I can't even. On top of that the same handful of pictures of Bundy's are used over and over...and over. That is, in addition of a few stick figure-like drawings that look as if a twelve year old doodled them in his notebook during math class when he was bored. In all fairness, there is one absolutely beautifully done drawing, and about a handful decent ones one could work with, contained in this underwhelming work but that alone does really and truly not justify the price I paid for this thing. It's hard to wrap my head around this: If there is one thing about this serial killer we all know it's that there are hundreds of photos of him online. And every odd year I seem to find a few new ones that former acquaintances or people he crossed paths with publish. Was the author just too lazy to do a simple google search? Could she have explained her rather "interesting" choices in a foreword of sorts? Should somebody, anybody, whom she certainly must have shown this book to before publication gently have relied to her that nobody wants to buy a handful of pages with pixelated images that look as if they could be Ted Bundy or they could also be of a rhinoceros bathing in a lake? I think so! Possibly there are those who appreciate the lack of variety because they get to paint this one picture with varying colors in different styles and see which ones they like best. If you are one of these people this is your book and I wish you a lot of fun with it. But if you're like me and you were just looking for a book with fun drawings or photos to look at you will most likely feel scammed.
