YES they are all together!!! For Mae Wood's first book and series she hit this one out of the park!!! Cannot wait for more from her. Marissa is a sexy, smart, athletic lawyer and so relatable. Trip is probably the best alpha male characters that I have read in awhile, he is so relatable, with just the right alpha in him . I love that both these characters are fictional, yet I feel like they could be the people that I would be friends with. Chemistry and relate ability of the love is very evident in Wood's books. Freaking FANTASTIC!!! Yes we got the Happily Ever After in Rising Ruin, but now we get more of Marissa and Trips story. This couple is loveable, relatable and sexy. They both are hard working lawyers that love there jobs. The relatable issues make you swoon at every page. We get more of Bert the best friend we all need in our lives. I won't spoil anything because you all need to go get this book. Its amazing and the writing is fabulous.

I originally reviewed books one and two separately. Risking Ruin: From the first sentence in this book, I was drawn in to the story and couldn't put it down. The chemistry between Marisa and Trip is explosive and the forbidden nature of their relationship makes it that much hotter. Marisa holds her own; she's strong, smart, and sassy. Trip is hilarious. I loved these characters so much that as soon as I finished this book, I moved on to book two! They are both smart and confident. They have amazing chemistry. They are similar in a lot of ways but their differences are perfect complements. This author quickly became a favorite, auto-buy for me. I can't wait to see what's next!

What a great story. Can I have a Trip in my life please? Oh wait I'm already married, DAMMIT! I LOVED the "oral conditions" set forth my Jimmy in the prologue for the next book. Fan-freaking-tastic and super funny. Oh Trip, how I love thee. Let me count the ways.... 1. Your dirty mind. 2. Your high sex drive. 3. Your love for "Runner Girl". 4. Your love for your family. 5. That dirty mind again. While I found that Marisa over thought a lot of things, I liked that she thought things through. I loved that What a great story. Can I have a Trip in my life please? I wanted to smack her a few times and be all "LOOK at what Trip is doing for you". I FLOVED the "I mean it"'s.

Risking Ruin was my first Mae Wood book. Boy am I glad I made that purchase! Mae’s writing is so well thought out and if you really pay attention you will find out just how witty and clever she is. Risking Ruin’s slow burn will drive you crazy and keep you turning pages! Trip and Marissa’s story continues in Borrowing Trouble. Trip, a one-time spoiled playboy is now legal counsel for his families business. Marissa is the outside counsel for the same business. When I first read Risking Ruin, Mae Wood was a new-to-me author. I was immediately drawn in with the quality writing. I especially liked that the characters are mature, have established careers and that the relationship that develops between Marisa and Trip is authentic and believable. Borrowing Trouble is a wonderful continuation for Marisa & Trip's story. Just as in their first book, Mae Wood engages the reader with a mixture of real dialogue, sexy times, and charming characters. Marisa and Trip are perfection! I read this series backwards because I didn't know until the 2nd book that it was a series. Even if you do you'll be stunned by the love Trip gives Marisa. He is perfect. He knows what he wants and stops at nothing to get it. Marisa is still questioning if he wants her, why he wants her, and if they will last forever. Mae Wood gives good romance with a wonderful sense of humour, and a perfect happy ending. I really hope the series will continue, it's so good! A well Marisa and Trip are perfection! If you’re ready to read about characters who have moved past the “New Adult” stage of their lives, Mae Wood does an amazing job writing real, relatable characters that draw you in and make you feel invested in their story. Her books feel "real" with people dealing with issues that readers can really connect to - no over-the-top crises or complications to introduce unnecessary drama. I loved Marisa and Trip!

Sweet, sexy, and smart Sweet, sexy, smart. Risking Ruin is the intro to Trip and Marissa and I really enjoyed it. The follow up, Borrowing Trouble, is perfect. A great wrap up to Trip and Marisa's story. Trip is truly a swoon worthy book boyfriend and Marisa is a great example of a strong, funny, sweet heroine. I love this couple!

Trip & Marisa Duet This is a duet that tells the story of Trip a very well off lawyer and businessman that will one day run his father’s company and Marisa the lawyer for Tripp’s father’s business. I enjoyed both books and look forward to reading more from this author.
