This sweet little story is one of the Hallmark like romances with a layer of depth. I have read this one two or three times and every time it was just as sweet. I also love how it was a prequel of sorts to another series, which I enjoyed (the first book in said series) just as much. And the cover is so cute!

I love stories where the couple sees each other across the way and one thing after another puts them together. Well, if you do too, then this is a book for you. Let’s just say it’s the beginning of many of her wonderful stories. It introduces us to Alfred and Eliana before they are the King and Queen of Eyjania. Their first date is cut short and she doesn’t know who Alfred actually is. Then something happens and they get swept up into the crazy world of being a “royal” and in the public eye. Their romance is sweet and endearing. Even though Eliana feels so out of her element and doubts her place in Alfred’s life, he lets her know, she’s the one for him. Carol Moncado's books always bring a smile to my face and this one did just that! I loved it! If you LOVE reading stories regarding royalty and all that life can bring, then you really need to pick this book up and read it! You won't be disappointed. I received this book from the author and all opinions are my own.

You really need to read this novella about King Benjamin's parents before you read Benjamin's story in The Indentured Queen. The novella will leave you with questions, but you need the background for the longer novel. “Love for the Ages” is fast-paced, with Alfred and Eliana attracted to one another from the first pages, and things move quickly from there on. It's a very satisfying read, leaving the reader wanting more! You really need to read this novella about King Benjamin's parents before you read Benjamin's story in The Indentured Queen. This novella is a shorter book than her other books (thus a novella). This story is about King Benjamin's parents (from The Indentured Queen book). I really loved this book, because of the background information you get on these characters. It helps with the current story-line. I highly recommend you read this book! You will not be disappointed! A Start of a Beautiful Royal Romance I loved this book about a college student who would become a queen. The storyline was beautiful populated by a cast of characters that ranged from good to bad. This book shows some of the reasoning behind King Benjamin's attitude in later years. This book is recommended for those that love Christian royal romances. A Start of a Beautiful Royal Romance I loved this book about a college student who would become a queen. Definitely a fun back story, for how the Queen Mother of Eyjania met and married the King - before he was a King. My only complaint, it wasn't nearly long enough (of course that's why it is a novella). We go back to the parents of King Benjamin, their meeting and getting to know each other. I quick read with mostly likeable characters and a nice start to getting to know the Eyjanian line. I liked the main characters Alfred and Eliana and am looking forward to Benjamin’s story.

A sweet story for the ages A sweet bit of backstory to the Crowns & Courtships series. It is a great stand alone novella but even better if read as part of the series. Enjoy it immensely.

I thoroughly enjoy these books. I always look forward to reading her work. Never disappoints. The only reason gave 4 stars, is because it was a bit short and lacking in depth. But hey, is a prequel, right? Love her work😊

Don't let three stars stop you from reading. The ONLY reason I marked it 3 stars is because I much prefer a full length novel over a novella. But I fully enjoyed getting to know Alfred and Eliana. Definitely recommend. Don't let three stars stop you from reading. Such a good quick book to read. Love the story and the background it gives for other books in the series. Like how this book ties relationships and builds personality for several characters seen in other books.

I knew it was a novella but I wanted more!! A lovely story of Alfred and his sweet school mate that becomes queen. I loved it but hoped for more glimpses of their married lives. Carol Monaco writes terrific royalty novels.

I loved this look at the parents of a main character. I thought it was interesting, and would have loved to see a full length version rather than a Novella. It was well done and I loved the epilogue!

It took me a couple of chapters to get into this one, but once I did it was another Carol Moncado book hard to put down. A sweet love story that set the scene for Benjamin's story. Reading this before The Indentured Bride made many of the scenes in that story more poignant. A good story The story progressed well with the interactions & relationships explained. A story explaining how Benjamin's parents met & his mother's background. This really opens the door on the new series. Gives pieces I information that are need to round out the stories coming up. Each book as it's own special parts that help you see who these characters are. When she was covered in mud and he still wanted her not give up their possible future said a lot. A sweet way to go back to the beginning of the Crowns & Courtships series. It is a short prequel with sweet information on how their large family started and we get some insight on a couple of characters. Really enjoyed [email protected]

This is a great story on its own and I liked hearing the story of King Alfred II and Queen Eliana. The book is also helpful for understanding parts of other books and their characters. A must read for the series.
