Another fast, well plotted story in the Seeker Series. There's a small editing flaw toward the end of the book that left me confused, but otherwise, well written and fun. Reese is a great character, brave, hard working, will do anything for the ones she loves, and has a strong moral compass. Turns out, the last one makes Reese a far more interesting character than the typical urban fantasy character who seems to commit mayhem without a single minute of guilt or consideration for the harm she might have caused. The plotline was well done, and very creative. Reese is forced into finding a Sun Lotus, a rare flower that blooms once every ninety-two years. Each petal, when eaten, can cure any disease. The world building is also fun, and interesting. Even without Reese, the world building makes these books worth reading. It's somewhat on the dystopian side, and it's getting darker as the series progresses. That's not to say the books are depressing, or anything, they're mostly light and fun. I'll be reading the next book. One last thing: the character seems to have undergone a name change between this, and the first book. Reagan to Reese. A bit confusing...
