Would highly recommend this book if you have a family member suffering with effects of trauma. Valuable information that provides hope.

I received a copy of this book through a giveaway on Goodreads. I enjoyed reading it. However, I was expecting it to be closer to a "self-help" type of book. And instead, it is more a narrative of some of her cases, with a bit of a "text book" feel. There wasn't really anything about HOW a person might utilize NRI to overcome their own traumas. I won this in the goodreads giveaway. As someone who has endured and survived trauma I found Margaret Vasquez to be knowledgeable and offer solid advice.
