The Secret Twin is the final book in the Alaskan Oil Barons series. It is a good ending. It wraps up the secret surrounding Brea Steele. She also gets a happy ending with Ward Benally. Recommended for fans of the series and romance fans.

I liked it but IMO it was a whole lot of nothing as far as no suspenseful ending. The threats that ran through the entire story ended up basically being nothing. It's like a story where a nothing character that nobody cares about is the culprit. To have been a good suspenseful story, then IMO a key character or characters should have been the guilty parties and there should have been real fall out in the family.

I kind of wish I had read some of the earlier books first. Then I think I would have had more of an emotional connection. Still, it was a fast-paced book.
