Spoiler alert: Most of these air-fryer recipes aren’t low in carbohydrates, but some are. And all of them shave hundreds of calories off the dishes if you made them in the usual way or bought them at a restaurant. Crawford can teach you to make home fries, potato skins, crispy Brussels sprouts, salmon croquettes, coconut shrimp, sweet-and-sour chicken, chicken kabobs, lamb chops, fajitas and even dessert in an air fryer! Whether you’re a newbie to the air fryer (like me), or an old hand, Crawford has plenty of you to love in this cookbook. And, for those with a Kindle Unlimited subscription, it’s free to read! Highly recommended.

If your love of fried foods is in conflict with your desire to eat more healthily, the air fryer is your best friend. In The Super Easy Air Fryer Cookbook, the author shares her love of fried food using this more healthy method. After a brief introduction, the book is divided into nine chapters. Chapter 1, “Have Your Fries And Eat Them, Too” offers information on how and why you would want to use the air fryer. It even Includes a handy comparison chart of the top air fryer brands. Chapter 2, “Ready, Set, Air-Fry“, You learn about what to stock in your kitchen pantry to ensure you have the staples you will need for air frying. Other information like a step-by-step guide to air frying is included along with an air fryer troubleshooting list and handy cooking chart of popular air fried foods. The top 10 list includes tips for getting your air fryer working perfectly every time and will be invaluable for the new user. The chapter is rounded out with information on what is included in the recipes including a list of the various labels and nutritional information included. The Recipes Chapters 3 through 9 are the recipe chapters including: Breakfast Snacks And Appetizers Vegetables And Sides Fish And Seafood Poultry Beef, Pork, And Lamb Dessert The beginning of each recipe chapter starts with a list of all of the included recipes and their page numbers. Here you will find the only picture for any of the recipes within that category, thankfully labeled with the recipe name and page number. The recipes themselves are well laid out and labeled. Recipe labels include: Fast (30 minutes or less, start to finish) Family Favorite (recipes that can feed a family of four and that kids and picky eaters will love) Vegetarian Gluten-Free Brandi’s Favorite (personal family favorites and recipes the author prepares often) Fry temperature, prep time, cook time and servings are followed by a brief description of the recipe, the ingredients, and directions. I found that the directions are very thorough, leaving little room for error. And many of the recipes also include a tip, either an ingredient tip, cooking tip, substitution tip, sometimes more than one. I find that these tips help make the recipes more flexible and easier to follow, especially if you are unfamiliar with the ingredient or cooking technique. The end of each recipe includes the nutritional information. Included are Calories, Total Fat, Saturated Fat, Cholesterol, Sodium, Carbohydrates, Fiber, and Protein. Lots Of Variety And Tips Throughout the book, the author includes little side comments pointing out the benefit of the air fryer in a particular recipe. For instance, the comment may mention the amount of fat the air fryer recipe has reduced from the standard fry recipe. There are a wide variety of recipes in the book. Everything from PopTart-like pastries to Korean Short Ribs is included. The recipe index at the end will help you find the recipes by name, the general index will help find them by ingredient. I would highly recommend this to anyone who has an air fryer. It would also be a great add-on if you’re giving an air fryer as a gift. I think that even someone who is well familiar with air fryer cooking techniques would find several recipes to enjoy. They might even learn a few extra tips or tricks. This is by far one of the best cookbooks ever! For years, I avoided fried foods to live a healthier lifestyle and would only indulge on special occasions. It goes above and beyond and has expanded the use of my air fryer tremendously. There are so many recipes I would have never guessed to cook in it! So not only do I get to enjoy new foods, I'm actually using my air fryer (and it's not just another kitchen gadget collecting dust on my counter)! I also LOVE that Brandi takes all of the trial and error out of the cooking/learning process. I'm new to using an air fryer and really had no idea on the process - the cookbook lists the exact temperatures and times for cooking to perfection. You have NO IDEA how much time this has saved me! You can tell she's really put her heart into every recipe and has perfected each and every one. Lastly, the layout of the cookbook is very crisp, clean, and easy to read. Everything you need to know is there and there's no unnecessary extras. It's concise and to the point just like I like it! Can't wait to try out more recipes on my air fryer thanks to this cookbook!! What are you waiting for!? Add it to your cart, you won't regret it! A MUST BUY!

As a new owner of an air fryer I am sometimes not sure what I can cook safely in the appliance. I received a review copy from the publisher and was delighted by the vast array of tasty treats that Brandi included in her book. The book even covers a section on "Yes you can cook that in an air fryer " for skeptics like me. She has also included conversion tables and cooking guidelines for those brave souls that dare venture beyond her recipes. I personally would have loved a few more pictures for inspiration but all in all this is a really good cookbook.

This cookbook is a great purchase for anyone who is new to air frying. Brandi has also given substitution options as well. If you want pictures of every recipe, this book is not for you. But the instructions are super simple, ingredient lists are mostly small and most items are easily available around the world. I've made a few recipes from this book and I plan to make many more.

Nicely done. LOTS of recipes for meals with simple good ingredients. Things I would not hesitate to eat without “frou-frou” stuff only gourmets would find enjoyable. Just needs more pictures to be perfect.

Already tried some recipes with great success! I enjoy that there are more than just standard "fried food" recipes. The air fryer is perhaps a misnomer as it is actually a convection oven that operates with little (teaspoon) to no oil.
