I have tried about 85% of the recipes in this lovely book and enjoyed every one! And my kids ate and enjoyed them as well which is always a plus! All the recipes were hearty, flavorful and delicious. I appreciated McDonald's simple ingredients. Most times people say they are hesitant to try a vegan cookbook because of hard to find and sometimes expensive ingredients which I can understand, but for the most part the ingredients in her recipes are things most people who cook regularly should have on hand and if not the ingredients should be at your local grocery store. And the recipes themselves are easy to follow too so bonus! She has included 75 recipes covering breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert/treats. Plus some easy to make yourself staples like vegan butter, nut cheese, gravy, pie crust, bread and ranch dressing. I loved theses added bonuses. So even if you aren't looking to go fully vegan there are some excellent recipes to add into rotation. And check out her ig too @avirtualvegan she has tons of recipes posted there as well. • A Few Of My Favorites In No Particular Order: -Roasted Garlic Alfredo -Cauli Power Burgers -Ooe-Gooey Cinnamon Rolls -Soul Warming Stew And Dumplings -Loaded Zucchini Breakfast Casserole -Bangin Bbq Cauliflower Wings -Best Ever Fluffy Pancakes (I could live of these!) -Crazy Good Carrot Cupcakes -Baked Creamy Coconut Rice Pudding -Quick And Crispy Zuccini Fritters -Legendary Chocolate Chip Cookies -Chocolate Studded Pumpkin Bread • Thank You to the publisher for #gifting me this book. Opinions are my own. • For more of my book content check out instagram.com/bookalong

Melanie has phenomenal recipes -- I've tried a dozen or so from this book and have loved every one. Her food is easy to make, creative and best of all, delicious. Both vegan and non-vegan friends have enjoyed meals based on Melanie's recipes, many of which are now part of my regular menu rotation. The hardest part of owning this book is going to be figuring out which recipe to try first! But do yourself a favor and get it ASAP!

I've made a few of the recipes from this book so far & am very pleased with the results. Clear instructions & easy to find ingredients not to mention lovely photographs of the recipes. A great cook book to add to your collection, you won't be disappointed! I've made a few of the recipes from this book so far & am very pleased with the results. This cookbook is filled with gorgeous photos of yummy food! My only complaint is that nothing jumped out at me and begged me to make it. I will definitely try a few of the recipes, but I didn't find myself saying, "Ooooo I want to make that right now!!!" Maybe once I start using it I'll enjoy it more. 🙂

As a non-vegan who is trying to expand my cooking and diet, this book looked very interesting and easy to use. Unfortunately, there are so many specialty items that you need to buy. It is difficult for me to justify adding these recipes to my current cooking habits. I will pass this book onto a vegan friend in hopes she enjoys it more :)
