Teva is immediately attracted to Joey and thinking that a quick hot encounter can't hurt....but both find that the attraction is just getting stronger. Both have past issue that are present in their current lives that are impacting them in moving forward. But it impossible for them to turn away from each other for long. Wow...this book had me in just a few pages. I found it hot, funny and a good story. Loved the secondary characters too. Can't wait for more books from Ms. Starr!

Equal parts sexy and sweet along with a bit of angst, Hold Me kept me glued to the pages in anticipation to see where things would go next. I had so many feelings about these two. There wasn’t really a middle for me. When I loved him, man did I love him, but some of the things he did really made me love him a little less. But as time goes on and these two fall deeper and deeper he ultimately won me over proving that deep down he is actually a giant sweetheart. Overall I throughly enjoyed reading this. Even when I was frustrated I was still completely hooked and that says a lot about how great the writing really is.

This book is right up my alley. I love a good rock star story, so I was looking forward to reading this one. It had all the elements to keep me hooked from page one. Normal moments, drama, hot, intense, angsty. You name it, it had it. This was my first read by this author, and, like I said, I was hooked from the get go. The radio show contest along with Teva and her bff’s reactions to winning it were just too cute and made me smile :)

Stream’s front man was everything I wanted from what was the quintessential tortured front man, relationships are so far off the agenda that he was totally oblivious to the possibility but that just meant that he was all the more vulnerable to the swipe of love when it headed his way and it is safe to say that when he meets Teva, he hadn’t a clue what had happened. He was totally caught napping by this beautifully serious, professional nurse. Her life was so complicated, as she battled to work and study that the fact that someone like Joey was interested in her was of no consequence. Mind you he didn’t exactly do his cause any favours with his initial behaviour, on one hand I was peeved that he thought that he could treat her so poorly and still expect her to give him the time of day but on the other hand I sort of got why he was the way he was, I’m not condoning his behaviour but Teva could have done herself more of a favour by not forgiving him quite so easily. There was a really push me pull me aspect to the story, one that as a reader was almost impossible to reconcile, one minute I was ok and happy with the pair of them and then the next I was quietly ( or not so in some cases) curing the pair of them. With a fabulous cast of secondary characters, this had it all. It was full to the brim with angst and attitude, enough twist and turns to keep it fabulously entertaining and just the right amount of humour to mean that I couldn’t help but chuckle at some of the antic. A great read, it will have you thoroughly hooked.

Joey is a tortured soul musician who's hot on the alternative charts as the song writer/front man of the band Stream. He's not one for relationships, but he never sees Teva coming. And that's what happens when she goes with her roommate to their concert with a meet & greet. Joey talks her into spending time getting to know him, and she does something that she's never done, spent the night with him, as their chemistry is off the charts. It was an insanely HOT night that lit the sheets on fire, but he turns into a douche afterwards in my opinion with his "fears." See this is where I'm livid at him because I really think that he was wrong for the crap he tried to pull, especially since he was chasing her. And then I got mad at her for giving in to him too easily, so you can see my dilemma of the amazingly talented Faith Starr's writing, because I was totally invested in this story. So I keep going as the drama was everywhere, wanting to throat punch Joey in the worst way, and yet, couldn't stop reading to save my life. There's a cast of secondaries that added more to the story, whether it be drama, suspicions, or just humor, they made it even better. Of course there's some twists leading up to the finale, and I have to admit, I was spouting off colorful metaphors all over the place. So in conclusion, this story did have it all, and I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

She had no plans to fall for the hot lead singer of the band, but one thing leads to another. These two have such chemistry that sparks literally came off the pages. This book is the story of two people who seem very different on the surface, but underneath they are looking for the same thing, even if they don’t know it. One issue I did have with the story was that I had to keep remembering that this relationship moved very fast. The fact that they are thrown into some difficult situations almost immediately, I sometimes had to remember that Joey and Teva had only known each other for a week or so, even though the level of their emotion was very high. This is definitely a series I look forward to reading more of and I Can’t wait to learn more about the other members of the band and family.

Lots stuff happens in this book. I think Teva got a raw deal because Joey treated her well when they were together but the minute he should have been there wanting her to help him, he ghosts her. I thought she was a little too quick to forgive him. I think if I had to find out something huge in the man I am with life on the internet I wouldn't have ben happy. Maybe stubborn wouldn't have helped the situation but make him work for it a little bit. She just laid down and went with him on how he wa Lots stuff happens in this book. Joey and his rockstar status leaves a lot to be desired. His childhood sets him up for failure with women. Until he meets Teva then he feels that pull that cannot be denied. They had good chemistry when they are happy with each other. Hoping for more from his bandmates.

Great Characters! Such a great read, sexy, sweet, funny and dramatic all in one, the hot but sweet rockstar factor is just fantastic! All the characters had me spellbound from the start, as well as Joey and Teva, the secondary characters are also amazing and I felt like I knew them by the end of the book, I can’t wait to hear all about their stories in the rest of the series. This is the 1st book in a new series, and is Joey and Teva’s story. Joey is one of the members of the bad “Steam”, and while playing in a show he meets Teva, and the chemistry is intense. *Received an ARC in exchange for an honest review* Joey meets Teva at one of his concerts. She ended up winning backstage passes with her best friend who is a huge fan of Joey's band. They both were immediately attracted to each other. Only wanting it to lead to a one night stand. They both couldn't deny the growing attraction they had to each other. I thought the book was great just a tad slow. Also, I felt like Teva forgave him too quickly. She should have made him work for it.

This story was pretty good, really enjoyed it. Joey sexy handsome rockstar and lead singer meets Teva at a meet and greet. I didn’t get the jump into bed at first sight kind of feel or even the chemistry between these two but the story was still good. Joey and his sister Dani had issues from their childhood which I found kind of heavy for a romance. I’m going to read book two in this series and hope it’s more about the relationship and less about the trauma. I still recommend this book.

Teva isn't looking for love. She is trying to keep her life balanced between work and her classes. That's until she wins a radio contest.  Now she is sitting on the tour bus of Steam with Joey enjoying a conversation.   Joey has no plans to fall in love.  Teva turns his thoughts and music upside-down.  Together they find they make truly beautiful music together. Outstanding story of love, healing with just enough funny as well as, extra spice to singe my fingers.

So sweet I love rock romance. Can we get anything better. Sweet hard working girl meets hot troubled rockstar who is into BDSM. Um no you can’t. Faith put it all together absolutely perfect. And the twin sister was a perfect compliment to the rest.
