Good You must have a strong stomach to read this and a open mind. Book is a good read but the thought this is a true story is by far disturbing.

I don't know what to feel after reading this. I've read a few books on abuse, but this is the most horrible thing a child can experience. And to still think her dad is in HEAVEN now?! I CANNOT..... I've read something like this a while before, and the abused also still looked up at her father in the end. I mean, how?? Anw, I hope they really get healed. I am so proud of you, the first two pages of this book I cried my eyes out, my name is Lilly, and I was molested by my daddy. This book was so good and it brought me back and reminded me of why I do things to help others. It reminded me how alone I am not. It touched my heart in such a deep endearing way that I will never be able to thank you enough for sharing this story with me and tons of others. I’d give this book zero stars if I could. I’ll start by saying My professional career was spent working with sexual abuse victims. I have extensive knowledge of victims and offenders, and extensive experience with “child pornography” aka sexual exploitation of minors. That’s what this is. No redeeming value whatsoever. I could not finish it.

My Daddy A heart breaking and heart warming story of triumph over tragedy. God places us in a family then tries to see how strong or weak we are. Although the author did not go overboard with her religious beliefs or even lack of them, she left it to the reader to see the subliminal message of heaven and if there is a heaven and her father, in her mind, became an angel, then there must be faith as she imagined it should be.

My Daddy the Pedophile: A Memoir Well written on a subject hard to imagine happening. Hurt people hurt people. No one knows what happens behind the front door of any home. Deciding to live instead of suicide takes strength and heart taking steps to heal and live. The world is better with you, your husband Anthony and Amy. Thank you.

Meh... I only read the first 11 chapters. It became so repetitive. She was in love with her dad. She wanted to stop having sex with him. But, she would continue to have sex (Just one more time) bcz she wanted something from him..... And when she caught her dad in bed with her little sister, she believed him when he said he wasn’t having sex with her.

I read this book hoping to understand my own fathers struggle with pedophilia. Although I did gain greater insights Than I had before reading I don’t think I’ll ever understand this insidious perversion. With that being said I was very moved by this woman’s inspiring and courageous journey of healing and forgiveness.

Thank you My mom was molested as a child and I never understand the correlation with the religious abuse I encountered as a child from her. After reading this book, I understand the cycle and why this happened to myself and my brother. Thank you for writing this book and making me see things from my moms inner child and what she must have experienced to survive the abuse.

Heartbreaking to read I recommend this book to any survivor of abuse it is touching to know that you can end the cycle of abuse. As hard as the anus was to read about the healing journey was hopeful! Not many books explain the healing and aftermath so I am grateful that this book includes the healing

This book was very hard to read and the content simply incomprehensible at times. But It pulled me through because the individuals were so compelling and in spite of the horror, I wanted to know what happened next. The author did a wonderful job and ultimately moves to a place of healing which so many memoirs completely skip over or exclude.

Story of overcoming Not for the faint of heart. This is a detailed story of the worst of the worst, and overcoming. Well written and heartbreaking, but also empowering. Thank you for sharing your story with the world.

Abusive parents, physical and mental trauma, finally healing. Unfortunately, a work of nonfiction can’t portray the minutes, hours and days of psychological pain and physical abuse. The book would be 10,000 pages. Lily is a survivor. Her book ends with encouragement and hope.

What a truly sad story with a somewhat uplifting ending. This story is very sad with multiple scenes of child abuse and molestation. I just about cried through the whole entire book about what these poor children had to endure at the hands of so called parents.

A honest victims story of abuse The first half of the book gave too much detail it read like a paedophile hand book. I am glad you found the strength to write the book and that you reached your person so goal of recovery

Would not recommend. Not well written. Saddens me what the author went through and wish I could give it more stars but I just felt as if the main character was dumb more than half the time, even when she should have known better. Idk not for me

Wow unbelievable what has happened too these children, very hard to read, but very great writing. I can’t relate to this book at all, and it make me sick to think this stuff actually happened to children, truly heartbreaking.
