This is a great cookbook with simple recipes of all kinds (paleo, vegetarian, vegan, etc). My husband and I are enjoying all the vegan recipes and are able to tweak some recipes that aren’t into being plant based. The Green AF salad and the mini blender muffins have been favorites I am definitely going to make again. Next week I’m making the southwest bean patties, sweet and spiced quinoa, and the potato and chickpea abundance bowls amongst others.

I really enjoy cooking from this cook book, because it is so fast and simple, yet tastey. It is also a beautiful book to look, because of all the pictures. There are many tips for the rookie cook, and an easy to prepare meal for the seasoned one. I would recommend this to both genders (do not let the title fool you) The book is also a great resource for treats. I made the muffins and cookies from it, and my taste buds have been entertained. Definitely a great addition to my cook book selection!

Too many weird ingredients for me but some great "between the lines" ideas. Too many weird ingredients for me but some great "between the lines" ideas.

This is ok, but I don't think it really shows the best of FMC. I think another issue is cultural: Kevin is American whereas I am not and the tastes and ingredients are not the same that would be enjoyed or always as easily available in the UK. It does have a good conversion chart and differing names table at the back which is great, but it might have been worth noting this in the intro! I’ve been following Fit Men Cook for years. Naturally, I’m very excited about the book. I appreciate his vulnerability in his bio. Most (NOT all) of the recipes look easy to make. I highlighted a bunch to start meal prepping tomorrow. There is quiet a variety. Note to Editor: there are typos and a few missteps. Ex. the salmon has to be marinated for 30 minutes but step one was to preheat the oven.

easy to read and a lot of excellent information on how to eat well but healthy. Tips and tricks and good recipes, even for a plant based eater. Also easy instructions. As he says at the end of his you-tube vidoes (which I found because of this book) keep it healthy but never boring. He does this well

Great addition to the cookbook library! Lots of great healthy meal ideas and no crazy exotic ingredients 😉

Some good suggestions, but not a good fit for family cooking.
