If you're thinking of starting a small business (or need tax tips for your current business), this is a good book to read (and own). It covers everything from sole proprietorship to corporations. I have to admit I have a finance background, so I feel like I had a head start on many of the concepts, but I still found plenty of helpful nuggets (especially with the new tax laws). It's a meaty book, and it even put me to sleep a couple nights. If you're thinking of starting a small business (or need tax tips for your current business), this is a good book to read (and own). Amazed that I finished this. Extremely helpful and readable explanation of absurdly complex U.S. tax code.
