Falling in love with Mitchel was easy. Letting him go is harder. Kelsey wakes up in Prairie with no phone and no way of contacting Mitchel or Nessie, and not long after arriving in town she bumps into possibly the hottest guy she's ever laid eyes on. Literally. She walks right into him and forgets all about Mitchel for all of ten seconds before bolting out of the gas station. Falling in love with Mitchel was easy. Letting him go is harder. Her first day at Prairie Academy starts off great, she gets to meet her crazy cousin and make some new friends, but by lunchtime, she ends up on the wrong side of the school's very own mean girl. The hot guy from the gas station keeps popping up, and he might be just what she needs to get over Mitchel. Things start moving pretty quickly and she soon finds herself enjoying this fresh start...but her past has a way of catching up to her. Kelsey may pretend that she's forgotten about Mitchel, but he sure as hell hasn't forgotten her. xoxo

First off Blue Raspberry is a completed series and I read them back to back so my review is the same for all of them because it’s encompassing. So this series starts off as a contemporary YA/NA romance and as the main characters get older some of the scenes get more explicit. There’s 13 books in the series that feature some raw situations and I found that with each book ending I was hooked and needed to get into the next. It is fortunate that each book isn’t particularly long but written well eno First off Blue Raspberry is a completed series and I read them back to back so my review is the same for all of them because it’s encompassing. There’s 13 books in the series that feature some raw situations and I found that with each book ending I was hooked and needed to get into the next. It is fortunate that each book isn’t particularly long but written well enough that I didn’t feel like something was missing. I will say up until the last two books you will see that there is a continual back and forth pattern. Kelsey and Mitchel’s story is a roller coaster and for the most part I find their toxic relationship frustrating because it’s alway back and forward between them and so many others get involved; it’s a mess. Overall as a series I would give it a 4 out of 5 ⭐️ rating. They each brought a lot of feeling to the surface, I have laughed, cried and been frustratingly annoyed with some of the characters and the only reason why it’s not a 5 for me is because some it was too repetitive the characters weaknesses were played on a bit heavy for example Colt was way too forgiving, Kelsey and Mitchel both had this need to hurt each other and play on each other’s insecurities and by the end of the series I was still left with questions: - what happen to Silas (I’m assuming he’s dead but could be wrong) he’s just gone ! - now I can read between the lines but I’m guessing it’s Paige and Boston right? What happens in their story? - JT and Nessie are a package deal too what made her decide to be with him; how did this happen Otherwise I loved the series but would really like to read some spin offs about the other characters.
