General fun fluff read. It's about a guarded tomboy detective and a wealthy young stud with regrets from his past. They join up to find their missing grandparents and have plenty of adventures along the way. I liked it. General fun fluff read. Neither grandparent can be found, so Mason and Charlee start the hunt. They have a major road trip to LA while discovering Nolan and Maybelline were briefly married while she was pregnant with Elwood. Nolan should've won an Oscar and someone from the Gentry family accounting firm rigged the ballots that year and has done it again this year. Mason and Charlee fall in love along the way, but have to overcome, rich boy/poor girl issues, her wild and his conservative sides thanks to a teen air mishap that killed his best friend. Fun read, some sex.

Fun read with too many errors This might have been a fun read. However there are way too many errors in grammar and fat fingering of letters and numbers. Clearly no one proofed this book before publishing

The book was a quick, fluffy read. Some mystery, some romance- a little of all the good things. But oddly enough I really didn't like the Epilogue. I usually get so excited when I see there was an Epilogue but I felt this one was very odd. The book was a quick, fluffy read. Some mystery, some romance- a little of all the good things. This was a cute love story about a PI helping a client to find his grandfather. Of course, the plot gets mixed together so that the client's grandfather is actually with the PI's grandmother, and the sparks fly. It's a fairly entertaining novel, with a lot of plot turns. This is one of this author's earlier novels and she has improved! This book was really hard to get into. There was an excessive use of metaphor and the main characters' emotional swings were a little hard to believe. Add that together with a formula plot..boy with wealth and a pedigree meets girl from trailer park..and it was just ok. This is one of this author's earlier novels and she has improved! What a delightful read! Every other word is exciting. Every other sentence is packed with thrilling evocative words. Heroine is tough yet vulnerable. Hero is uptight until he discovers his wild inner self. I could not put down the book after reading the first few words, what a hoot!

This was a fun little light hearted book. It's funny and an easy read. A great pick if you want to be entertained and don't want to think too hard (a great vacation or beach pick).
