Alec Hudson is a ruthless businessman, a billionaire playboy, and probably the most eligible bachelor in Manhattan. And of course I had to go and spill red wine on his $20,000 suit. Now he’s blackmailing me to work for him to pay off my debt. As if I didn’t have enough to worry about with my failing art studio barely afloat and my father in the hospital. On the one hand, the pay is good, but Alec Hudson is as cold as they come. And a golden cage is still a f*ing cage. This novel has a HEA.

Lacked focus It took me a while to get into this book. After reading the first couple of chapters I was intrigued but as I progressed I bacame bored. The story line was taking unrealistic turns. I don't know of any person that would tolerate such blatant disrespect. Ara and Alec were naive and immature and the story line was muddled. Lacked focus It took me a while to get into this book. Billionaire anyone?? The Billionaire and the Artist written by Becca Bell. This is my first book by Ms Bell. It’s going to be hard for you to stomach Alec in the beginning of the book. Thankfully he redeems himself with Ara before the end of the book. I would gladly read another book from this author.

Slow moving I tried to like it, hoping each chapter A!ec would be likeable. Nope, didn't happen. How she put up with it, is beyond me. I gave up reading about 70% then I just skimmed the rest.
