I really enjoy Jessie Gussman’s stories, but this one is my favorite so far. Elaine was such a strong woman. Her husband left her for her sister. How awful! She is left to care for a handful of small children and a rundown ranch in North Dakota. She doesn’t complain and does the best she can. She is about to inherit one billion dollars as long as she gets married. Rem is championship bull rider who left Texas when his life exploded. And then they try not to fall in love with each other. The characters are likeable and strong independently. Together the chemistry flies off the page. Elaine’s children are just adorable. If you like sweet hot cowboys and strong independent women, this is a good one.

So fun! A little bit of everything in this story: some humour, some heartache, definitely some sweet romance. It is definitely best to read the stories in order as it helps to understand some of the characters in the story and also the backstory of each one. Readers are at a slight disadvantage if they haven’t read the previous books, or at the very least, the original story, but it shouldn’t stop interested readers from reading any of the books in the series. The characters in this story are vivid, true to life and fascinating. The two main characters are totally suited to each other, even though it takes time for them to discover this for themselves. Elaine is a divorced mother of four young children, who is struggling to hold on to the ranch that has been in her family for generations. Her neighbours have been kind and have often provided her family with groceries and other necessities. She hates being a charity case, but she will do anything for her kids. That includes marrying a stranger in order to inherit a billion dollar inheritance and keep the ranch. Remington (Rem) is a former champion bull rider who wants a ranch to call home, even if it comes with a wife and four small children. He is estranged and disowned from his family, and can’t afford to buy a ranch of his own with the amount he has saved. When Rem and Elaine’s mutual friend mentions that they could solve both of their problems if they wed, they agree to a first meeting. With Rem’s background check, his honest, forthright attitude and a willingness to help, Elaine agrees that they should wed. Each of them feels the pull of attraction and desire, but puts those feelings away, having both been burnt by their exes. They both hope for friendship and respect, but believe falling in love is not in their future. After the wedding, they fall into a comfortable routine, working along side each other, both inside and outside of their home. They do not share a bed, however, though perhaps that will happen once they get to know each other better. He has never been around kids, but her kids soon win his heart, and seek out his guidance. Their agreement is tested when she receives word that she will not get the inheritance...the letter was mistakenly sent to her. She waits for him to leave, and he is determined to stay. She can’t believe he would want to stay ....he married her for the money. Rem gave his word, and even though there is no inheritance, he has come to admire and respect the strong, determined and selfless woman he married. They agree to work together to save the ranch. Will this marriage of convenience turn into a true love match? Read this sweet, heartwarming romance to see what follows in the lives of this couple. This is another book for my keeper list! I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

This is another story in the Sweet Water Ranch Billionaire Cowboy series by Jessie Gussman. This one focuses on Elaine and Rem. Elaine's sad story was introduced in the previous book. It was nice to see Ford and Morgan Hanson show up in this book. Ford introduces Elaine to her husband to be, Remington Martinez, an ex-professional bull rider. Remington has agreed to marry Elaine and turn her ranch around so she will inherit one billion dollars. It was fun to watch them move from awkward to developing feelings for each other as Rem proved he was not like Elaine's ex-husband, James. It was interesting to see if Rem would stay when they were told Elaine should not have received the inheritance letter. It was also interesting to see how they were going to keep the family ranch when there were very limited funds between them. I liked Elaine. She may seem meek and mild with low self-esteem but she is a wonderful role model for her four children. She is hardworking and will do anything to keep the ranch and support her children. She seldom complains and her children love her dearly and Rem comes to love her dearly too. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.

This sweet, and at times heartbreaking story is a 5+ stars story and a great addition the series. Elaine is one of the recipients of a letter informing her that she will get 1 billion dollars if she marries and stays in North Dakota. With the prospect of a ranch for Rem, and the possibility of help with her ranch, Elaine and Rem , two strangers, see this as a win-win for both of them. But even when life throws them a curveball , a tentative relationship begins and though struggling to stay afloat, the children and North Dakota become important to Rem. This is a story filled with the ups and downs of life for the couple , the children, and life on a ranch in North Dakota. At times heartbreaking, at others heartwarming, it’s a story about hope, new beginnings and second chances in life and love. Another winner in this series. I was entrusted a copy of this book. I've read several of Jessie Gussman's books in this series. Each adds a depth to the characters in the story. He signed away his parental rights for 1/2 the worth of the farm. Now, Elaine has a huge debt and no way to pay it back. She needs help! Her friend, Ford, says he has a friend who can help her out. Elaine has a letter stating that she has inherited a billion dollars if she gets married. Rem is a Texas cowboy in need of farm and Elaine is a North Dakota farm girl in need of a husband. Both can make this work if they don't let feelings get involved. Is that even possible when they begin to see such wonderful qualities in each other and begin to think about a happy ever after? This is a clean romance with plenty of chemistry. I was given an arc copy of this book and I willingly offer my honest review.

Jessie Gussman delivers another clean western romance! Remington Martinez retired from a championship bull-riding career and is now in North Dakota preparing to marry a divorced woman with four children, sight unseen. She only hopes that he is a better man than her ex-husband. Elaine and Remington both know this is a business proposition, not a real marriage but she can't help admiring the tall dark Texan and he likes what he sees in this delicate, blond woman who has fought so hard to keep a ranch and feed her children with no support from their father. Jessie Gussman writes great western romances and I love reading them. I like that Remington’s character portrays the real aftermath of a bull-riding career; the aches and pains of a lifetime of injuries from a sport he loved.

Again, this is a story with a unique plot & people who are worth getting to know. I received an ARC of this story, then found that I enjoyed the story so much that I bought a copy & can honestly say I liked it that much.

I have probably said this before but this has got to be my favorite of the Billionaire Series. This time it's Elaine's turn to have the marriage of convenience and it turns out to be all she wanted and didn't know she needed. Neither thought they were deserving of love, after all it had slapped them both upside the head. What they find is something that so much stronger and so much more important than money, especially if he could convince her he will stay. Awesome read and while they are standalones the characters cross over and win your heart so you might as well read them all.

Another exciting, wonderful, fun to READ addition to this dynamite series by Jessie Gussman! Her women are strong, determined, and loving characters and the men basically fit into the same mold. Cowboy’s Don’t Have A Marriage of Convenience by Jessie Gussman I have to say that Rem and Elaine’s story was my favorite so far in this series! The trust they develop as they start to get to know one another’s characters, the slow burn attraction, the determined commitment to their marriage vows and their family. I could go on and on! I received an ARC from the author; this is my honest review. -Finally Remington's and Elaine's story! We heard about them throughout the other books and we knew Ford thought Rem crazy enough to accept a situation like the one Elaine lived in. -First respect, then understanding and friendship, companionship, lust, and love. The pace between each is believable; their story touches the heart. -You're just there wondering "what is wrong with their respective family? Can they not see?". -I loved how Rem I received an ARC from the author; this is my honest review. -Finally Remington's and Elaine's story! This book is a continuation of the Sweet Water books. Rem has come to North Dakota for the opportunity to marry a woman who owns a huge ranch. Both Rem and his new wife are hard workers but the ranch is failing because of steep debt. They expect this to be a business deal only, but Rem is very taken with Elaine - and her 4 children. Both of them have been burned badly in previous relationships so they are hesitant to act on their attraction to each other. I really enjoy Jessie Gussman's work. I think that Cowboys Don't Have a Marriage of Convenience may be the best book in the series so far. I know I keep saying that, but the books are just so compelling. Ms. Gussman knows how to create characters that her readers can relate to. This is the story of Rem, Elaine and her four children - a marriage of convenience to save Elaine's ranch. Elaine has been so strong so long it is nice to see her get some 24/7 support. There are glitches. It seems Elaine was not supposed to get the letter. A fun enjoyable marriage of Convenience romance. This engaging storyline was unique and unpredictable as obstacles are overcome, misinformation and a few twists. The characters are interesting and well developed with lots of chemistry. Would you marry someone you don't know or love, for a billion dollars? In order to save the ranch, that is what Rem and Elizabeth did. A marriage of convenience. Love wasn't part of the bargain, but you can't stop the feelings that arise when you live together. But there were some rough times. There were also the kids to consider. It was an instant family. So how do strangers enter into a contract to save a ranch and end up in love? You will have to read the book to find that out. Amazing storytelling! This highly enjoyable story of finding love and trusting in the courage to take a second chance at happiness was definitely one of the best stories I've read in a long time. Jessie Gussman is a amazing storyteller who has a way of making the characters come to life in the stories that she writes. This beautiful faith-based family story packed with lots of love and healing that the characters face in taking a chance at happiness is sure to be a story that everyone can enjoy!

The Cowboy's Convenient Marriage was such a sweet read! I loved getting to know Rem (who is from TX!), and how he was all in for their marriage, even though it was one of convenience. I loved how he slowly fell in love with Elaine and how she was perfect for him, hard-working yet needing his help. I loved watching the two together slowly fall for each other, as well as learning the dynamics of a family of 6. I also loved how the epilogue ties it up but also introduces us to the next book. Rem is a gentleman, Texas cowboy. Though being famous, tall, dark, and handsome; Rem has been hurt worse by a woman than he ever was while on the rodeo circuit. Elaine was abandoned by her husband...for her sister. Pregnant and left alone to raise her kids on a failing ranch, Elaine has spent the last few years exhausted and barely holding on. When these two strangers roll the dice on a marriage of convenience, trust in God’s loving hands to provide is the one commodity that they both rely on. C Rem is a gentleman, Texas cowboy. Can they find trust and maybe something more with each other? Clean and full of romance.

Rem is the epitome of "cowboy"––honorable, faithful, hard-working, and fun-loving––Elaine sees these things as she get to know him, but she still facing down the trust issues her ex-left her with. Elaine may look ethereal, but she's strong and doesn't back down from hard work. She's willing to make big sacrifices for her family. These are some of the first things Rem notices about her... things that made him fall in love with his wife... I think this is my favorite in the series!

I loved this book! Jessie Gussman pulls out all the stops with Rem and Elaine's story. A heartbreaking but heartwarming story about two people who both have trust issues due to past relationships. Present circumstances being what they are, they agree to a marriage of convenience never dreaming that it could lead to true love. Follow along with Rem, Elaine, the four children, and Banjo as their story is told. I received and read an Advance Reader Copy.

Rem is probably the most honorable man I’ve met fictionally or in real life (except for my hubby of course ;) Great story where both characters carry burdens from the past but their developing feelings help them to overcome. The journey that they embark on is engrossing and heartfelt. I genuinely enjoyed reading it! I received an ARC of this book for review. I was not required to write a favorable review. All opinions in this review are my own.

Love Trumps Money Elaine knows marrying Remington is nothing than a business transaction. Her kids get a father, she gets someone to help her with the ranch and most importantly, she inherits a billion dollars to save her family ranch. Rem has agreed to marry Elaine. In exchange the retired bull rider gets a ranch to call his own, a ready made family, and a place to lay down roots. When the inheritance falls through, both learn they really want each other~
