I hate to criticize a self-published cookbook because it's something I wish I had the courage and time to do for myself. I bought this book because I've eaten at a Cracker Barrel two times and I was intrigued. I know that CB is pure comfort food and the calorie police doesn't visit those restaurants. My criticism is that the photos are lackluster-- amateurish-- sorry to say. For me, a cookbook needs to have mouthwatering photos. Very Good Tips! These are excellent tips on secrets of Cracker Barrel. As a Southerner myself, I love to cook, the only things I would change is homemade cream of chicken soup as opposed to canned, high sodium, it is easy to make your own. I enjoyed the book. I highly recommend! carolintallahassee.com
