I really like it. It's dark. It's mysterious. Looking forward to seeing the story unfold more. Probably don't want to drink the water in that house though. I really like it. It's dark. It is very hard to tell who is who because of the art style. All of the female faces look kind of the same and some scenes don't have enough detail which makes everything feel very vague. I really wanted to love this and it is creepy enough...It's just not fun for me to try to decrypt the art. I like where the story is going. It was confusing at first read. Because the first scene was with a yet unknown female named Reese. Second reading, you'll get some things. Suspend your disbelief with this issue because there are a few illogical stuff that have happened here. How did Reese got to the scene so quick and how was she in the right place and at the right time to save the drowning boy? Maybe we'll find out later. Then you'll realise the Sheriff, Chase, and Reese all know each other. Also, apparently, witnessing Chase It was confusing at first read. Then you'll realise the Sheriff, Chase, and Reese all know each other. Also, apparently, witnessing Chase and the kids go out the grocery store is a possible disturbance already in that town. Chill out. Maybe it was just a color mistake--a hand reached out to save the drowning boy. You will see a red sleeved arm that reached out... at first I thought it was her sister because she's wearing red with sleeves. But it wasn't her! It was (not the green monster that the panel showed first), it was Reese! Wearing a moss green jacket. I am guessing it was just a mistake with the coloring. After the boy was saved, as soon as he drew his breath, the sheriff just forgot about that life and death situation and just went on to be angry at Reese and Chase and told him to go home as he storms off. Did not even called an ambulance or check on the kid further. He was just forgotten. Poor boy. The next scene is already in the ancestral house. They boy did not suffer any trauma, nor everyone who was there. No "What are you doing in there, you could've died." or something. Again, the drowning incident was sidetracked as soon as he was saved. No mention, no concern, no nothing. Maybe that's why the boy doesn't talk and only has his dog as his companion because he's surrounded with a bunch of people who prioritizes arguing over other stuff than this boy's life. Don't be like me, avoid being to critical and suspend your disbelief a little with this issue.

Add a sibling to the mix and come up with a little more mystery and perhaps black sludge on your boots. I am definitely interested in getting the skinny on what's going on here.
