This was rushed and awkward, feeling more like a first draft than a finished novella. The dialogue was off, the plot was hanging by a thread and I felt absolutely nothing for either of these characters. Decent cover though.

I enjoyed Dean and Sterling's story. The way they flirted, the care Sterling showed Dean, Dean's slightly bratty behavior were very sweet. Told from dual POV, there was enough background about both men for me to really like them. But the story ended so abruptly, I felt like I needed a chapter or two to make it perfect.

This was one of the worst book I've ever read. It was awkward and way too rushed.

PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!! To my ratings: A 3,5* is clicked with a 4* but in review marked as 3,5*: 5* - very very good and rare (it would be a Blow-Away-book like ‘Jesse's Smile’ or ‘Joey’ from Angelique Jurd, ‘Save the the kids’ series from EM Leya, ‘Love’s Tethered Heart’ from C.L. Etta or ‘Liberty’ from Seth King), it's like an A+ 4* - very good and will be often reread and is a WOW-book with interesting plot and surprises (like most of Andrew Grey books and Davidson Kings 'Haven Hart'-series PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!! I can recommend them definitively! It's like an B+ 3* - it could be more then a one-time-reader (2-3 times a year), it's like a B 2* - it was ok to read, but it's more a one-time-reader (I wouldn't recommend it heartily, but it was ok) It's like a C-, D 1* - sorry, but that isn't really a book for me (too many mistakes, not nice plot, illogical, so an absolute NO-GO). It's like failure in the whole line, dismissed, repeat the class

3 stars. Entirely too short. I can definitely get behind Daddy/Cowboy dynamics and I hope this becomes a thing because that sounds really damn hot and from the little glimpse we get here, it totally is. You don't get to know Dean or Sterling well at all so it was hard to become invested in them and their relationship. This has so much potential and I really hope the author is planning on expanding it because I think it'd be great to get to know these characters better and get a chance to watch t 3 stars. For what it is, it's okay and a very quick read but nothing to write home about unfortunately.

I wasn't sure about reading this story because I'm not a fan of Daddy/boy stories but it was good. It had very little of the dynamic in it. The short story is more of Dean and Sterling wondering about each other. Chance, Sterling's brother and Dean's best friend, gives them both a little nudge. This story is set after Finding Ripley where you can read about Reed. I wasn't sure about reading this story because I'm not a fan of Daddy/boy stories but it was good. I didn't realize this was originally a freebie from prolific works. But now that it's been put on Amazon, I feel like it should have been fleshed out a bit more in order to generate better character development. It felt like I was thrown in the middle of the story and was caught off guard so by the time I felt like I was caught up the story was over. This rushed feeling prevented me from having any investment into the characters or their story.

This was painful to get through. The storyline was amazing but I just couldn't get through it. There were so many punctuation and typos that just took me out of the story and I ended up skimming through the rest of the book. Even then I wasn't impressed with what I saw. Whoever was their editor needs to be fired because this book was a dumpster fire. Thank God it was only 40 pages. I shudder to imagine how cringeworthy it would have been if it had been a full length novel.

#mm #brothersbestfriend #bestfriendsbrother #Daddy 3.5 stars. Super short (30 mins). It was cute. I liked that although it was a brothers best friend situation he called the brother to warn him he was making a move so there was no secrets and drama. I've read too much of that. It did seem to be fast insta love but they've known each other forever. The 2 MCs were good together. Theres one quick sexy time at the end that was low on the sexy and high on the unrealistic.

Daddy kink A short story with Daddy kink. Bull rider Dean gets injured badly at work and to recuperate he is taken to his friend's brother, Sterling's house. Sterling,a Daddy, had his eye on Dean for sometime and this is the perfect opportunity to make Dean his boy. This had no spark and didn't work for me.

A Daddy for the Cowboy was a short, quick moving story. It had a different type of storyline that first moved along at a relatively decent way but then suddenly switched gears and ran the plot swiftly, but too fast. The author could have taken a little bit more time to delivery. I believe for a short story (and a subject a reader can embrace) it is worth the read.

A sweet daddy story A short but very sweet and sexy story. Dean is at loose ends in his life but lucky for him, Sterling knows just what he needs and wants to give it to him. I'm looking forward to learning more about Reed.

Just no Its a short story. I get that the plot will be limited and the characters underdeveloped. But this just didn't work for me. Plus the sex with all those serious injuries? That would have been excruciating. Ouch.

Disappointed I wanted to love this as much as I love Finding Ripley but the whole thing felt rushed and pointless. I know it’s a novella but there was no friction or depth to it. Almost felt rushed and pointless

I loved it! I loved this short story about Dean and Sterling. They are perfect for each other. I would love a longer story about them, maybe after Sterling buys that ranch for Dean. I read this book using the Kindle Unlimited program.

cute little/short story . . . didn't realize that there was a tie in with another book, that I had just finished. story comes to a "different" finish . . . by jumping over a lot of time . . . was a surprise, not altogether nice.

I like this book but I feel like it was very rushed. Like the author was going for a longer book then halfway through made it a novella and jumped to the end
