A Captains War is the best book l have read this year. The Captain takes you on a personal Journey of deployment that makes you feel like are right there with him. Also a story of strength and how to find yours in time of doubt. Lynda Masi

Fast paced and hard hitting. A Captain at War will make you uncomfortable in the best possible way.

A book for every American to read. I am an almost 70 year old grandmother that usually rotates between romance novels and biographies. To my utter surprise I was spellbound by this totally unromantic, gut wrenching story. I found the captain to be so real that sometimes it felt like I could reach out and touch him. I couldn’t put it down as the Captain taught me his lessons about life and war.

Revealing Great first hand account of what it was like living through that experience during that conflict. As a person who did not have to be there, gave me perspective and a deeper appreciation for those that did go.

Highly recommend! I don't typically read this category, but Westhoff captured me immediately. Thank you for sharing and for keeping us safe while you were at war. Highly recommend!
