#1: SEAL’s Oath “Best friends” Boone and Riley haven’t seen each other in 13 years, but when an amazing coincidence lands them on the same piece of land, they’re hot-n-heavy and having sex within 24 hours. I prefer a much slower burn/buildup. Especially since there’s lots of reason to question Boone’s sincerity (given the requirements of his “investor”). There’s a huge Jane Austin thing going on in the books, so if you’re not a fan you might miss some of the references. There are also a lot of characters (including references to characters from another series). I found the situation to be a bit too much of a stretch for belief, and although I enjoyed some aspects of the story, overall it was a 3.5. #2: SEAL’s Vow The moment Clay saw Nora, he knew she was the one. But Nora can’t make up her mind, runs hot and cold, and essentially strings him along (even though they’re also having sex by mid-way through the book). Clay was put in some embarrassing positions by Nora’s actions, and most men (especially an ex-SEAL) would not keep coming back for more of that kind of treatment. Clay is loyal to a fault, even when he’s not under a marriage ‘deadline’ thanks to the show’s producer. Nora… I just couldn’t get into her (too whiny, too sorry for herself…). For a stretch of the book, I was mainly reading it to find out about her stalker instead of for the romance (and in that regard, the book did not disappoint). Rating: 3 I could not shake the feeling that these ex-SEALS should have the balls to tell off their tyrannical producer/investor… or find a way to beat him at his own game. Now THAT would be an interesting story, and perhaps in that scenario they could act like SEALS.

Awesome! Great kick off to a new series by Cora Seton. Military men set out to build a sustainable community have to accomplish it on a reality show. The catch is that all the men must find wives in the year allotted and three of them must be pregnant. Boone and Riley, Clay and Nora are the couples in this boxset. It is an endearing, sometimes hilarious, romantic suspenseful story for each couple that I just couldn't put down.

Like the premise of the book I liked the idea of the four guys wanting to build a sustainable community, and even the reality show premise was good. I liked the guys but didn’t care for Nora’s character in the first book and liked her even less in the second book. Even Riley in the first boom spent much of the book being a bit unreasonable and quick to judge. There were parts I really liked but the two women fell flat for me.

Enjoyable Just finished Vol 1 & 2. It came as a set. There is a real story line in these books. Not just romance some kind of disagreements and or problems then the HEA it really gets into the personal lives of the characters. Would love to read the whole series. At this time it would be a bit on the expensive side for me. Will definitely keep on my wish list. Enjoyable Just finished Vol 1 & 2. It came as a set. There is a real story line in these books. Enjoyable I expected a book geared toward Marine life. Although enjoyable, it was the type of book I would normally not read. I must admit the character development was super. The story line flowed seamlessly. I was totally surprised by the character causing all the trouble. I would have given a rating of 4.5 if it was allowed. You

Clickbait Click Bait ... As usual read for 'free' kindle books hook me with a couple of volumes and then four bucks each for additional books. The author would appear a bit obsessed with sex. More than this old sailor would need or want. The story line was unique and kept my interest, but I can't seem to down load the next volume. Bye Cora, I think we are finished...

Crude, rough language. Unfortunately crude language ruined what may have been interesting stories. These forms of language usage seem to only get worse, so I stopped reading after 3 pages. Your choice, but for me..a no.

SEALS and Regency Ladies A Sustainable Community plus Regency Ladies is a great combination. Both of these books are good reading. They are hard to put down until they are read. I thoroughly enjoyed them.

Volume 1 Is Required Reading This thoroughly enjoyable series addresses a couple of interesting and timely issues, but reading the first volume is mandatory for the rest to be understood.

A new beginning for old friends and new ones. Ex Navy Seals find themselves living among four women that have pledged to live a Regency life style. It is a toss up as who is the strongest willed the women or the Ex Seals!

One of my favorite authors Great read, really has created a community of Chance Creek MT from her various other series. Gives the reader the details with out getting bogged down in the details.

The first book was a re-read for me, but it took until about 1/3 the way through to realize. I liked both books. Not a fan of how Clay treated his father, but Dell was pretty nasty at times, also. Nora. I understand her so well.

Solid 3 star The first I'd read before, and probably reviewed, so i skipped it. I liked the second. Has some hot scenes, but it's character driven. The characters are credible and complicated, although the situation is over-the-top ridiculous.

Navy Seals of Chance Creek Indulge yourself in a good romance with a strong storyline. Worthy beginning in the first two novels. But, I do enjoy a little humor in a romance novel and some battering between the characters. It creates a desirable read and enhance the storytelling .

Navy Seals, reality tv and a group of women committed to living a Jane Austen lifestyle! None of these things seem to go together, until they do. I was amused and entertained. The characters are fun and likeable. The story line is as improbable as it is intriguing.

Overall good Overall I enjoyed it. I had a hard time staying focused with the story. I'm not sure why. I found the characters interesting and the plot, overall, interesting but I would find myself skipping pages. I would love the summary version of the rest of the series.

Enjoyable I normally do not like romance books, but this is a nice change of pace. Not only do the men have to fall in love, they have a community to create out of the Montana lands.
