بریده های کتاب را سالها قبل که در صنایع هوایی ترجمه می شد،میخواندم و مدتی هم دنبال خود کتاب بودم که نبود.ترجمه که شد بلافاصله خریدم و الان خواندمش.روزی میخواستم سوار بر همین هواپیماهای شرح داده شده در کتاب پرواز کنم ولی دیگر امکانش نیست ولی هنوز مهر پرواز در دل است و شوق آن در سر. ترجمه ی کتاب بسیار روان و خوب است.تام کوپر در کتاب مطالب را خوب و کلی بیان می کند و در مواردی که تعدادش کم نیست ماموریت ها و عملیات ها را با جزییات توضیح می دهد.برخی روایت های او دور از ذهن به نظر می رسد که بسیاری شان ت بریده های کتاب را سالها قبل که در صنایع هوایی ترجمه می شد،میخواندم و مدتی هم دنبال خود کتاب بودم که نبود.ترجمه که شد بلافاصله خریدم و الان خواندمش.روزی میخواستم سوار بر همین هواپیماهای شرح داده شده در کتاب پرواز کنم ولی دیگر امکانش نیست ولی هنوز مهر پرواز در دل است و شوق آن در سر. ترجمه ی کتاب بسیار روان و خوب است.تام کوپر در کتاب مطالب را خوب و کلی بیان می کند و در مواردی که تعدادش کم نیست ماموریت ها و عملیات ها را با جزییات توضیح می دهد.برخی روایت های او دور از ذهن به نظر می رسد که بسیاری شان توسط خلبانان سابق نیرو هوایی در پاورقی تصحیح شده اند.در کل کتاب اطلاعات وسیعی در مورد این جنگ بی پایان خانمان سوز که در راستای سیاست های تثبیت حکومت و اقتدارگرایی و صدور اندیشه و صد البته نفت و قیمت آن بر سر ما آمد و پس از گرفتن خونین شهر،ما برای رفتن به بهشت،موج انسانی راه می انداختیم در مقابل شیلکا های تشنه به خون تا شوق شهادت را نکاهیم.قسمت های ثامن الائمه تا بیت المقدس بهترین بخش کتاب بود برای من و همچنین نیروی هوایی شاهنشاهی با عنوان عقاب های شاه که قدرت را به رخ می کشید.پس از آن دیگر ادامه دادنش مانند عذابی بود که باید میپذیرفتمش.اینکه نفتکش ها را سوپرفرلون ها می زدند واقعا اعصاب خردکن بود.و هیچ کلمه ای رذالت این قوم را توضیح نمی دهد که "شیمیایی" نامی را بر سر نه تنها دشمنان خود که غیرنظامیان خودش هم مانند باران می ریخت.جنگ شهرها هم تاوان ناتوانی یا جهل بود یا بهای پیشبرد اهداف و کاری بود که میشد و از آن کارها بود که دشمن نمیتوانست بکند ولی میکرد.این جنگ خون بسیاری را بر زمین ریخت و رشادت های بسیاری را نمایان کرد.برای من داشتن چنین مدافعان آسمانی که هشت سال در زیربار مردن در نبرد یا اعدام در تصفیه ایستادند،افتخاری است.باید یادی از تاج طلایی و سپهبد نادر جهانبانی هم کرد.برخی عملیات ها به جد خواندنی است مانند فانتوم های نیمروز یا حمله به الولید یا حمله به ایستگاه پمپاژ نفت اچ-2 یا زدن پل شناور روی اروند در عملیات بیت المقدس توسط محمود اسکندری بزرگ یا عملیات های شناسایی بهرام ایکانی که بعد اعدامش کردند و شکارهای هوایی توسط جوادپور ها و شریفی راد ها و جلیل زندی ها و شهرام رستمی ها.شرمندگی هایی هم مانند رفتن خلبانان و هواپیماهایی و نشستنشان در کشور های دیگر هست و اعجابی برای عملیات های که در خاک ما شد مثل حمله به نیروگاه نکا و حمله به لارک و خارک ستبر که هزاران بمب را تاب آورد. بلند آسمان جایگاه من است AnyTime,Baby...!
