Adventuring might be a dangerous profession, and ascended might encounter death at every turn, but there is a reason why most do not attempt to climb the Tower. For most ascended going into the Tower is a risk not worth taking, in opinions of some, it was equal to suicide. But there were a few who still dreamed of something more than pointless living. Great continuation of the series I continue to enjoy this series. The author does a good job of focusing on the right things and skipping "the grind". We're left with a bunch of very fun training montage-style parts of the book and a fast paced story. I don't know how he plans to combine all his series as part of what he claims is the Kalverse, but will be interesting to see. Great continuation of the series I continue to enjoy this series. Excellent book! This book is well deserving of a 5 star rating. It continues the overall story well, and focuses on the character development of the protagonist, the element of which Ivan has got near perfect in this series! My only annoyance comes from the lack of understanding and teases of the multimeter spread throughout, but this is a personal issue and one that stems from my desire to devour all of Mr Kal's series! Another good book Ivan's books are all good. Some are better than others. This is one of his best. He has a high output so we won't have to wait forever for the next one. 3 That I Wake Stars The Great Raid is the fourth installment into the LitRPG series Tower of Power by Ivan Kal. Not only maybe the shortest book in the series but also the most disappointing. It didn’t have the consistent draw the rest of Tower of Power offered. Basically started falling off as soon as they stepped into the Tower. Perhaps my expectations were simply too high? I kept waiting for the series to reach farther, where only the second book seemed to have any true potential. There were also some appalling grammatical errors and the writing is nowhere near on par with what Ivan has presented previously. . . Spoilers**BEWARE** . . . . . They only conquer the first level. Act entirely surprised when people actually die. The awaited scene near the end of the book with Moirai finally accomplishing a connection with Morgan was upsetting, and entirely too simple? It all became so rote. Supplying merely the basic necessities to attain a beginning, middle, and end, then essentially giving up. I was a little reassured about the possible potential for the fifth book following this. With the epilogue showing Vollara and Rainor at least surviving. Underwhelmed. Let down. Hopes crushed. This book made me cranky. *big sad*

Excellent continuation of the series with great pacing, action, and progress to the story line and a great setup for the next one. Good RPG progression. It's time for our heroes to graduate from group dungeon dives (and magical tournaments) to raiding. There's relatively little that happens in the grand scheme in this book, it's more of small events, progression, background information (seeing the MC from the The Eternal Path series show up as a floor boss is a fun idea). There's still a major character progression at one point, or the book would be a filler, but that's probably enough for a short book like most of the series Good RPG progression. Rating 3.5 stars Still a good series. Not my favorite since this one deals with a much larger group that has entered the tower. I prefer the smaller group tactics or the one-on-one fights from the previous books. It is hard to keep track of the action when there are so many people involved. Also, I only really care about a few characters. This had to happen though, so I can't complain too much. On to the next book. Rating 3.5 stars Still a good series. The story continues! I can't believe just how good this series has been so far. I've been absolutely captivated. The time jumps, though necessary, do cause you to lose out on some of the character growth, but it does not take anything away from the story at large. This has been such a great addition to the series and I'm really excited for the next one! The story continues! I can't believe just how good this series has been so far. Antler Bear....no thank you A journey, a new heart, a deeper connection, and a truth known but now confirmed. This book was one of sorrow and triumphs, one of defeats and victories, this book made the connections more profound and the bonds stronger. The story was great and the promise of more even greater.

Nice continuation to the story, and absolutely looking forward to the next one in the series. Nice job here folks, if you're an LitRPG fan, then this series should probably be on your bookshelf. It's not the best LitRPG out there, but it has plenty of the things that make the stories enjoyable, and that's definitely something that makes it worth reading. Another good one Follows along with good action and enjoyable RPG elements. The action is fast paced and continuous without over powering the story line or trying to be the whole story fast leveling coupled with explanation though not of the upper power levels yet.

Morgan gains. Book 4 has the same insane Morgan that we love. Some good side characters progression and interactions. The THING grows

Yay finally we get to climbing the tower. This is a great continuation of the series.

Good read, I enjoyed this book. Looking forward to the next.
Rickie Brown –
Surprising! This chapter of the story had some twists that I was not expecting, and had still lived up to the quality I’ve come to expect from the other booms.

Spelling and grammar are still quite poor. A competent proof-reader is needed! Other than that, an enjoyable tale set in an established universe.
Mike Goodman –
Entertaining Story This story of a guy who created a world to train a army through making everyone have to kill stronger monsters to live is a interesting story.
Andrew Leigh –
Good book. Good series. I enjoyed all the books in this series. The story flows well and the plot holds together. I eagerly await the next book.

Tower book Good story that advances the plot to the name of the series - climbing the tower. I liked previous books and world building but glad to get to the main event

Decent Series Good series and in general I recommend it to anyone looking for decent fantasy without the trashy nonsense. Little swearing, but nothing that is over the top or distracting from the story. My biggest qualm is that not much happens each book and it feels a little like the story is really being dragged out too much. What's there is really good and I definitely recommend the series. But it moves a bit too slow. Decent Series Good series and in general I recommend it to anyone looking for decent fantasy without the trashy nonsense.
