I was completely enraptured by this story. I love old school fae, the kind with counting quirks, rules and riddles. I really love this version as well, where the fae are based on flowers. It reminds me strongly of Shakespeare's Midsummer Night's Dream the way the fae are described and interact. We have our MC, who is a spoiled princess whose lived in a sheltered bubble in her court for all her life. Through a series of events, she gets the chance to see the other fae courts in her world, and oh I was completely enraptured by this story. So many otherworldly things to discover, the authors put in a lot of imagination and attention to detail in this story. There are a few things that I think could have been better, in the sense that a few things were explained a little more. (view spoiler)[ like how the MC got summoned and what the rules are for fairy rings. Could any fae have been summoned? Is it random chance who gets picked? what are the flower things they're born with? (hide spoiler)] I would have also loved way more time spent on alternate view points from the characters. I need to know more about what's going on in grumpy Olis's head. It also would have been nice to hear more from the humans, but i'm pretty sure this book is just the set up before we really get into the meat of it. I'm stoked for the next one!

A fun BoTM with RHR. Our theme was Fae and I'm really happy this won! I'll do a full review but for now if you're starting this my advice is to give it to 60% before making up your mind! Its a slow builder and it wasn't until the introduction of Torren that I started to enjoy it. A fun BoTM with RHR. Our theme was Fae and I'm really happy this won! I like it! So, immediately after reading this I went to see when the next book is out. The next is out March 31. There are 5 total books. Basically one a month I guess with the last one due out June 30. I know, I know! Things sometimes change but I am impressed they are set to release so fast! How nice! Also, a huge thank you to the authors for not leaving things on a major cliffhanger. A little one is fine, as they have done. I really appreciate when authors handle things more tidily. Now, the book! It was different than I thought it would be. Some things were a bit predictable... the priestess, for example. But the flower birth thing was unique... at least for me. I like plot. The FMC has some growing up to do and I look forward to seeing that. I like the king a lot. I kinda wish we had seen more of her 3 humans though. I guess maybe later? I am not sure I completely felt the connection with those three. At least not yet. Olis is a jerk, lol. I kinda like him though. I will like him better if he can learn to chill a bit though. Torren is pretty perfect so far. Looking forward to seeing what happens next!

But the different things do not add up and Ila does not seem to be very sympathetic. She is rebelling a lot then she is not interested in her education. And using her Power she wanders of and we are witness to some smut. Tattoos appear and Ila does not investigate, what this means for her. She seemed like a spoiled, rebellious princess but she has a good loyal heart. This said, I am skipping to 60% with the entry of Torren we suddenly find a storyline and things begin to make sense. And also it got more exiting to read the rest. So I will give the next book a try and hope it will not take this much time, until I get hooked.

I only saw the cover and decided to read it, I have no idea that this book is a Reverse Hareem. Sure, I have my fair share of rh books, but I'd rather try to stay away from this genre. The cultural diversity is written with delicate details will sure makes you curious for more. Think of it like Tinkerbell series. The heroine is a lovely character, but what makes this book remain still in my mind is the romance in the half the end of the book, I promise you that it will not disappoint you. If you're a fans of dark mysterious charming prince. Wait untill Torren being introduced in the story. At first I was annoyed by her strings of relationship with the human boys, thanks God there's Torren. I really wish it's not a rh book, well what's done is done, and I better be grateful it's there to begin with. This book is intended for mature reader because of explicit sexual content.

Am I supposed to like Ila? She presents as really young, she doesn't seem to think about how her actions effect others which leads her to do irresponsible and dumb things. Naive.

As well as who she amasses as her mates. Kendra and Poppy killed it with this book. I simply could not put it down and I am impatiently waiting for the next in the series. Especially after that cliffhanger.

The authors have created a world I want get get lost in. I have no idea where the inspiration came from but I have never read anything like this. The world starts in one faerie, or louloudi as they call themselves, court where the main character is born, and expands throughout the story into several more kingdoms, and there is every indication that there will be more. The world is beautiful, and each court is beautiful in its own way. The author's detailed colourful descriptions made me see all the courts in their full glory. It felt like I was there. The main character Ila, is the crown princess of the Orchidasi court, the ruling court, and she is the daughter of the coldhearted queen prone to intrigue and cruelty. Ila is a beautiful troublemaker who does not conform to the societal and imposed norms. She does not fit in, not she wants to fit in. She yearns for freedom and free life choices. Fortunately, she is accompanied by her best friend and partner in crime Cerulea, who came to her as a companion as a child and they grew up together. I say fortunately, because had it not been for Cerulea, Ila would be alone in the world due to her uniqueness. I have to admit that I fell in love with Ila right from the beginning. She is pretty amazing, and Cerulea is a best kind of friend anyone could ever have. The story itself is freaking amazing, the plot so complex and full of various events, twists and turns, some completely expected and logical, and some I didn't see coming. That was the best part, the unpredictability of it. There is so much intrigue, loved it. Then there are beautiful calm moments filled with love and friendship and very unexpected alliances. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention that there are some very heated moments in this book. I mean scorching hot.  This book won my heart from the start and I fell in love with the series. I could not be happier to know that there are four more books coming. I cannot wait to see what kind of trouble Ila gets herself into and I cannot wait what kind of intrigue is coming, because it seems to be something epic. Just when I thought I could not love the authors more. Books need to be read in order: Resurrect: A High Fantasy Reverse Harem (The Blooming Courts Book 1), Sprout: A High Fantasy Reverse Harem (The Blooming Courts Book 2), Flourish: A High Fantasy Reverse Harem (The Blooming Courts Book 3), Emerge: A High Fantasy Reverse Harem (The Blooming Courts Book 4), Blossom: A High Fantasy Reverse Harem (The Blooming Courts Book 5). NOTE: Those of you who got the pre-order, there was a tiny formatting mistake which in no way affects this beautiful story, all you have to do is read chapter 29, after chapter 24 and then continue normally. This will be fixed in a matter of days.

Real talk. I want sure about this book when I started reading it. I absolutely cannot stand young, immature, rebellious female main characters. I usually find them ridiculous, unlikable, and unreadable. Ila was all of those things. BUT here's the thing, it worked! It worked with the storyline about who she is, why she did what she did, and why she thinks the way she does. Her terrible mother just wasn't the right person to teach her that, but these new people in her life will. I liked how this book started out with a sexy bang (literally and figuratively). It moved into fantastic world building. I loved all of the places Ila went and the people she met and the situation she got herself into. The characters were so likable had such distinct personalities. When a lot of characters are introduced in a story, they can sometimes get lost and their personalities diluted. Not this book! The authors did such a great job painting a unique picture for each character. It was like the Wizard of Oz on steroids. I cannot wait for the next installment!

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. Wow, I was totally blown away by this book. I absolutely loved the story line. I really felt like I was getting to know the characters. Princess Ila is so complex and totally not what one would expect. The beautiful written descriptions of the Basid, Crassula and Lunari Courts left me feeling like I was there. I could close my eyes and see myself in each of these courts. And how could I choose which one to stay in.... I can't. And I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. Wow, I was totally blown away by this book. I enjoyed getting to know each of these characters while reading the book. This book was magical! These two authors are both excellent storytellers on their own, but you put them together and magic truly happens. Princess Ila has stolen my heart. She’s headstrong, rebellious, yet naive about the realm she’s meant to rule-and wants nothing to do with. Above all, she’s kind-hearted and determined not to be like her mother. It is a truly magical and epic fantasly.

A very interesting start to this new series! I am enjoying learning about this new universe and how it all functions. The characters are intriguing and many have mysteries I am most curious to solve! Ila is definitely interesting and her mother definitely seems up to nefarious things! I cannot wait for the second installment of the series!

The world the Kendra and Poppy are able to paint is astonishing. It feels like you are a part of Ila's world. The detail that they are able to add to the story makes you almost believe that Tautha is a real place. Ila is one of my favorite characters and I can not wait to see what other trouble she finds herself in. This is a wonderful start to this series and I can not wait to see how the story progresses.

I love the world this book is set in. It gives you a whole new view on fantasy and it sound beautiful. i love the mc and het bff, they seem like such fun people, even the guard seems like a person who will develop more in the future books and i cant wait to read about it. The book also has quite some steamy scenes which are fun to read. just make sure you like RH books :). I cant wait till the next book comes out.

Kendra Moreno and Poppy Woods did an amazing job creating a new world that pulls you straight in and makes you feel as if you are there visiting each of the courts along side Ila and her companions. I love everything about this book from the emersive world to each of the characters' personalities. Everything is very well developed and I cannot wait to read book 2 and see what happens next!

Girls, you did it!! You worked your magic again and get us into this awesome world in a way that we wont be able to get out of it, nor want to. I love the relationship between Ila and Cerulea and their great friendship. And the courts? I wish they really existed so I can visit them!!! Cant wait to read more of this series!!!

I really enjoyed Resurrect. Ila is just learning how much her mother has held her back by restricting her movements. Reminds me a little of Spaceballs when Lonestar tells Princess Vespa, "Welcome to REAL LIFE!" She slowly begins to grow, but is clearly still naive. Her relationships with her men vary greatly from fast-burn to slow and cautious, but they're all hot.
