I thought the first book couldn't be topped but I was wrong this is a wonderfully steamy adventure. Looking forward to what the author comes up with next this was a great read. I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest! This was a great book ! Hazel is just living her quiet life. Then everything changes, when she meets Ashton. Ashton had been imprisoned for fifteen years by the false king. Now, he is trying to fulfill the real king's last wish. Find the rightful heir to the throne! Is Hazel really a Fae princess? Loved the characters + the storytelling ! It has all the ingredients that you need for a great book! This is book two after the Winter King but it can be read as a standalone. This is also a beautiful and short Fairy Tale. If you feel like reading a lighthearted and sweet Fae romance, Spring Warrior is for you. Ashton was captured in the Spring Court after the war and has been in prison for fifteen years. However that is going to change with some help and pretty soon he will have to fight for his kingdom, his queen, his people and his unexpected mate. However that is going to change with some help and pretty soon he will have to fight for his kingdom, his queen, his people and his unexpected mate. Hazel is a young human girl living a quite and nice life with her mom but all of a sudden she’s going to meet General Ashton and her life won’t be the same again. Confusing feelings, magic, fae warriors and new friends that she is going to discover will shake her existence. I liked the main characters, Ash is brave, honest, strong and loyal and Hazel has a good heart, many doubts about the Fae World and can’t understand what is going on, but she is sure of two things, the huge pull she’s feeling for Ash and her caring for the people that lives in the Spring Court. Very enjoyable reading. Medium to fast burn and steamy scenes. The plot is well explained and although isn’t necessary, it’s better if you read this book after The Winter King so you can have the whole experience. It’s always fun to see characters from the previous book showing up here and interacting with the new characters. I received a free copy of this story in exchange for an honest review.

With its engrossing writing style and plot, this totally reminded me of Sarah J Maas's ACOTAR series. My main "complaint" is that Spring Warrior wasn't long enough (yeah, 30 chapters, but I didn't want it to end!), so hopefully Mrs. Dark mentions Ash & Hazel in future installments. Definitely recommend. With its engrossing writing style and plot, this totally reminded me of Sarah J Maas's ACOTAR series. Loved it! Just like the first book, this one kept me hooked. I love Fae romance and JS Dark did a really good Fae romance! The character development was awesome and the world building was very good! I recommend checking out this series. You can read each book alone, but I suggest reading them in order.

Predictable but good. After reading the first book in this series, this one was fairly predictable, however, it was well told with only a few editing errors.
