The UK has 14 overseas territories, including Bermuda. Each of the overseas territories has its own constitution, while the UK government is responsible for external affairs, security, and defense.Civilian authorities throughout the UK and its territories maintained effective control over the security forces.Human rights issues included violence motivated by anti-Semitism and against members of minorities on racial or ethnic grounds.The government investigated, prosecuted, and punished allegations of official abuse, including by police, with no reported cases of impunity.
