Where to start, I really like the way Shawn Inmon writes, his Middle Falls series is one of my favorite time travel series. It is so different from most time travel books. But Kragdon-ah is by itself different in that it seems going into the future your are in the past. I enjoyed this book as I did the first of this series, however, there was one part at the end of a battle that really upset me and I ended up crying my eyes out because of it. Now I find that when I can get that involved in a book or series to that level of interest that I can laugh, and I did in this book several times, or cry my eyes out, then the author has certainly made the reading worth the whole story. I am looking forward to book three in this series, September isn't that far off, and that's why I waited just awhile before reading book two. Keep on writing Mr. Inmon, I along with many others, I am sure, are faithful readers of your work and we are anxiously awaiting the next adventure. P. S. I was thrilled to hear that there may be another Middle Falls adventure in the near future as well.

An awesome read!!! I came across the first book in this series when I signed up to tryout audible. It was so good, that I could more than usual envision the story like I was watching a movie. The descriptions are done so well without be too overly descriptive and boring. Then I had to get the next book in the series. I love all of the relevant 21st century pop culture references. And then I had to start following this author. Best stuff I have come across for a long time from an author i had neve An awesome read!!! The ending was sooooo compelling!,I have definitely pre-ordered the 3rd!

Book two Mistakes: Another extremely well written book. Plot: Off on a rescue mission. Travel the world of the future. Characters: I really felt bad for the MC at the end of this book. Great characters. 8/10

Wow! What an adventure! Can't imagine walking or ridding a horse across the U.S. and actually finding their way home. It seems that Alex finds trouble no matter where he goes. But being able to fight the way he does and teaches the other two to work as a team, is the only way that this small group of heroes has been able to survive. And they actually achieve their mission! I finished book II in the wee hours of the morning. When I say wee hours, the darkness was already receding with the oncoming of dawn. I just couldn't put it down. This time, however, we're brought face to face with the realities of loss. Book II is one of dangerous pursuits, heartbreaking loss, and soul-break I finished book II in the wee hours of the morning. An adventure across a future America This is the 2nd book in the trilogy of Alex Hawk's adventures in Kragdon-ah. The setting is an American in the very distant future. Alex and his team travel across "America" to rescue the chosen One. To be honest, for me it started slow but by the end of Chapter 9 I was hooked and drawn in again and the remainder of the book flew by. Another great story from Shawn and of course he leaves us on the hook for book 3 out in September An adventure across a future America This is the 2nd book in the trilogy of Alex Hawk's adventures in Kragdon-ah. Excellent second book in a series of three It is middle of July and the final book is due out in September. I am looking forward to the conclusion of this man' journey and his faithful "dog". I have enjoyed the second book more than the first . This is a journey with a mission landing the reader in different mini adventures as the journey continues. I really enjoyed... This book more than the first. This had a large quest and many short side quests. The first had a major quest and only a couple of side quests. We get many more stories from individuals in this one. This book moved really quickly with great plot and lots of interesting characters. Great job.

Alex Hawk - Man of his word, Warrior for Good Shawn Inmon has brought a new world of the future to life in this book as well as the first book, Door Into Time. The language of the tribes, the hazards of daily life, the relationships of characters in the story. I was immersed in this book from the very start. I truly cannot wait for the next book in the trilogy!

Another five star review for another inputdownable book. I love the characters and the way the story keeps you gripped. As with everyone of Shawn's books, I felt that I was an extra in the book watching it all first hand, rather than just reading it. Can't wait for the next one!! Gripping One of the longest books I’ve read of Mr. Inmons but so good I didn’t notice. An armchair adventure you won’t want to put down.

Always moving Definitely a good read. I wasn't disappointed. Always a new adventure around the next corner. Kept me riveted. Each character is different in their own way. Another thrilling story! It took me a while to come around on the first book, but it really did just keep getting better and better as the story continued. The second book took off at a fast pace and never let up. I hope the release date for the third installment holds true, as I am anxiously waiting for it to drop. Well done, Mr. Inmon... p.s. I really liked this book. I mean, I should have given it five stars... and I would have if not for those ******* names! I know the story takes place in an "exotic" location, but PLEASE name the characters something comprehensible that doesn't need a written-out list of characters on the side while reading the book just to keep up with who is who. Other than that, it's an excellent story and no surprise really since Shawn Inmon is a really good writer. He just really sucks at naming characters for I really liked this book. Edits Alex smiled easily. “That’s fine. We just want to talk to someone about getting across the lakeas well as bow. Can you give us a ride to the eastern shore?” The barge master used a long pole to push them away from the island, but then he raised a sail and pointed it windward so they sailed right into the wind. To Alex, who had no knowledge of sailing whatsoever, it seemed slightly miraculous, but the others took it in stride. [cant sail into the wind]

I really got hooked on this series. The story is very desciptive and you feel like you are on the adventure with Alext Hawk to find the chosen one. You can't wait to see what he will encounter next and the author does a terrific job and telling a story and keeping you in suspense. There is a sense of humor throughout the book and the author allows the hero (a time traveller) to commentate and add what he remembers from his own time peroid. I really got hooked on this series. MC: Consistent, Believable, Mildly shallow development, good character SC: Almost one dimensional Ant: Is not a character, but instead is the plot device which caused the problem that remains the antagonist. P: single PoV, very linear almost like an old school RPG, consistently felt like a small quest was occurring within the larger plot, consistent progression Strong(ish) Finish

Excellent ! As usual Shawn has woven a wonderful tale. At times I struggled not to cry, at times I celebrated their victories, and at times I envied their way of life. Well, minus the lack of bathrooms. . Im really looking forward to the next book.
