Nancy Drew never fails to amaze me. Stefan Petrucha deserves a 5-star rating for making Nancy Drew more fun to read.

A really quick read of one of my childhood favorites in graphic novel form this time.

The woman, by the way, lives at the Stratemeyer Estate. The woman is also a little bit on the somewhat looney side. A relative of the woman, though, claims that the chimp doesn't not exist and the woman is just

This book was a great surprise to learn about and see that Nancy Drew was carrying on as a graphic novel now. While I wasn't too keen on the art style, I still sucked it up and enjoyed it. The story was good, but Nancy was a bonehead! She was so absent minded and forgetful, this was nothing like the real Nancy Drew in the main series. I was disappointed about that, but it was still a fun read. One other thing I am wondering about is where the heck is Helen Corning? Nancy seems to only be hanging This book was a great surprise to learn about and see that Nancy Drew was carrying on as a graphic novel now. Don't get me wrong, I like Bess and George, but I liked Helen too.

When Blanche Porter’s pet, Mr. Cheeters, goes missing, she seeks the help of Nancy Drew and her friends. Oh, by the way, Mr. Cheeters is a chimpanzee wearing a diamond necklace. Despite the town thinking Ms. Porter is an oddball, Nancy is taken with the love she has for her pet and agrees to search for Mr. Cheeters. When Blanche’s brother, Lawrence comes to town to calm his sister, Nancy believes he’s there under false pretenses. Can she find Mr. Cheeters before it’s too late?

Nancy is on the case for an eccentric woman named Blanche Porter who is searching for her missing pet chimp. Chaos ensues as Nancy and her friends George and Bess solve the mystery of the missing chimp. The story was ok, but I enjoyed Writ in Stone more than this one. Ah well sometimes in a series there are some duds. This may just have been a dud. Oh well. On to the next!

Didn't know they had started making these into a comic series. But upon reflection it makes sense. E brought some home and I read them. Ok. But I like the books better. She liked the action agent part a bit more than the Nancy Drew sort of silly mysteries. Overall she likes the combo Drew-Hardy comics best. This is my favorite of the series that I've read so far; it's clever, compassionate, and especially funny. The first page, for instance, sets up what looks like a terribly dangerous situation--only to have it deflated when you turn the page. There are pro-animal messages, but they aren't overdone. Also, there were some clever twists that kept me guessing. (Finished 2009-07-28 23:45EDT.) This is my favorite of the series that I've read so far; it's clever, compassionate, and especially funny. God knows why I still read kids books at my age but I cannot resist a nancy drew story. I am obsessed with the graphic novels. Although the story is a little lame with a chimpanzee called Mr Cheeters is missing, it was still an entertaining read

I liked this manga version of Nancy Drew. The artwork was a whole lot better than the Hardy Boys version by the same company for some reason. It was a fairly quick read, but still fun all the way around. Wouldn't mind reading a few more of this manga series. I liked this manga version of Nancy Drew.
