Parts of this I really did love, but others were a bit meh. This book made me realise that Michelle is definitely the stronger writer of the two. I don’t think there is much to take away from this book (as they made clear it isn’t a self help book) but it was enjoyable nonetheless.

I liked this! It was wholesome and made me feel seen. The essay on independence/non dependence/neediness hit home for me. Enjoyed.

Not everything in here will be relevant to every person. I truly started enjoying this read after the section on Love - which depicted a much more “casual dating” vibe than I had ever experienced in my early twenties. The remainder of the sections on ambition, mind, body and voice however were infinitely more powerful to me. Will I keep climbing? Of course. But it’s when I pause to look at the view from here that I feel truly alive”.

5/5 from me! Raw thoughts, eloquent words and plenty of laughs. These women are strong and their voices are powerful. Their wisdom is beyond what some would achieve in their 20s. I thoroughly enjoyed this book!

My rating would be more of a 3.5....Parts of this book I found really refreshing ,other parts I struggled to connect with. All in all I am proud of the shameless girls for bringing out a book that I am sure many young people will enjoy & learn from :) My rating would be more of a 3.5....Parts of this book I found really refreshing ,other parts I struggled to connect with. Absolutely loved this book. The continual change up between the format of each chapter makes it an easy read and you just want to keep reading. So many parts of this book that just make you feel seen.

I didn't think this book was really for me, but Michelle's very honest essay in the final chapter literally brought me to tears and I felt seen.

Too immature for the target demographic. Very cliche. They underestimate their reader, do not elaborate on any stories that could have been potentially funny, and don't offer much substance in this book. I got 16% in and gave up because I was not interested. For reference, I'm 25 years old, and am a straight white lady--so according to their intro, I am the target demographic that would likely relate to this book. May be cute or interesting or encouraging for a young teenager, but I don't see th Too immature for the target demographic. Very cliche.
