    This does what it says on the tin, basically. Well, you get your potted history and a short reel off of battles, no real personalisation or attempt at creating a narrative really, in my view, but I think I've perhaps been spoilt and perhaps I'm being harsh. Still, I found this short, there is no real atmosphere or even an attempt to contextualise all the different battles and the whys and wherefores, and tbh, I found myself wondering if perhaps they could have extended the length and given the r This does what it says on the tin, basically. Not bad for a short read to learn, I guess, but definitely could've been better!

    Not much is known in this part of the world about the chaos and the anarchy that prevailed in the British Island during the 11th and the 12th century. Charles River Editor narrate in a manner only they can, bringing the complexity of internecine feuds and intrigues that marked this period. The story is as much about the Williams (one of them being the conqueror) as of Matildas (one of whom was married to the conqueror).
