4/5⭐️ There is some evolution in these stories, more depth although they remain short... it’s like different dream scenarios put together, floating from one dream to another... gumball machines, turbulent flights and domination... this was my favourite part so far! This part made me feel like I want to read more and want a complete novel by this writer!

It’s always so refreshing to go back to more simple stories. Eduardo’s collection of short stories are poetic and thought provoking. As these are translated from the original Portuguese version, this is a wonderful glimpse into the mind of the author for non-Portuguese speakers. If you’re looking for a quick, yet thoughtful, read, absolutely check out these books! I’m looking forward to the remaining four!
