Never run from a werewolf. My life has taught me to expect the unexpected. A serial-killer rampaging through the New York Pack? Sure. Why not? But a serial killer who smells like me? That’s a heck of a lot more than unexpected. With the Alphas of All poking around and my own Alpha on a rampage to figure out who the murderer is, it becomes a race to see who finds the truth first Never run from a werewolf. My life has taught me to expect the unexpected. A serial-killer rampaging through the New York Pack? Sure. Why not? But a serial killer who smells like me? That’s a heck of a lot more than unexpected. With the Alphas of All poking around and my own Alpha on a rampage to figure out who the murderer is, it becomes a race to see who finds the truth first. I'll find the killer. Or the Alphas will find me. Either way, it's time to face the facts. There's a lot more to being "Wolfsbane" than suppressing my pack's shifting. And I'm pretty sure it starts with my freakishly red hair. The truth was explosive in those last few chapters and I can't stand to wait until the next book releases. Where's my chocolate!? I love Hen and Romeo. Together they make my heart melt and I'm staunchly choosing them as one of my favorite couples. The chemistry between them is scorching-hot! And I smiled through most of this book. The match of wills is delightfully delicious. The girl gang in this is solid! They each are a sad bunch, and I'm hoping that we see happy endings for them as well in the conclusion! I love how they have come together and bonded. I want so many things for each of them. I have so many theories yet to play out... This is one of the most engaging and well written wolf shifter series you'll ever come across! It's addictive and intriguing! One-click this series! It's one that you'll be thinking about long after you have finished reading.

Wow!! Lola Glass has done it again. I am consistently blown away by the character development and emotions that are conveyed within a relatively short book. I have given this book 5 stars because it is engaging, suspenseful and I care deeply about the characters. Running beside the Alpha contains a lot more romance compared to the first instalment in the trilogy, however it didn't take away from the main plot and action. I really was impressed by the fact that Lola didn't shy away from Hen's trauma and that she was respected within the pack (not all the time...). Instead of being pressured to conform and act a certain way, she stayed true to herself. I have been left with so many questions after that ending and can't wait to see how this series wraps up!

I adored this series, it is so bingeable, I love the characters and the plot so much! Another thing which I ended the last book hoping to see more in this book was the politics of the world, and you definitely see Henley getting more involved with the downtrodden of society. That through her past experiences she wants to stand up and fight for those who are being abused by current systems and I look forward to her continuing this hopefully in the third book. Speaking of the third book what a cliffhanger! I need that final book because I need answers! Thank you to the author for an advanced copy of this book but all thoughts and opinions remain my own!

Like the first installment, it had the laugh out loud moments but in this particular book there were two mysteries to be solved. I truly enjoyed the mystery part in this book. Be forewarned the arc continues as it’s not resolved in this installment, but I’m sure it will be resolved in the next book.

Another binge worthy book by Lola in her Wolfsbane trilogy! The story was fast paced and written in a way that kept me fully engaged for every chapter. A few things I’m loving in Lola’s writing are that she isn’t rushing the healing process of Henley’s character, pacing it over the books so well, the self love and body confidence that the woman radiate in her work, and that the intolerance of abuse against women is a huge part of this story. Henley (MC) has some admirable character development in this book, beginning to let people in to the events from her traumatic past and her burdens to understand her more, as well as opening up to her true self in comparison to her coldness (in the form of sass and sarcasm) that we saw in the first book. Arla, London and Jamie are just the ultimate girl BOSS group that every badass woman needs in their life. Roman is just a hunk of delicious, brooding shifter male (YUM). Can’t wait to see how this trilogy wraps up!

And he did. “I’ll chase you anywhere. Everywhere. You’re mine, Henley Ellis. If you run, I’ll be right there behind you, enjoying the view.” Roman himself started prioritising Henley, but not to a point that would put his loyalty to the pack in question. He was devoted to the wolves, but always managed to find time for her and put her needs first when it was needed. They were kind and forgiving toward each other, and their trust was clear between them. “People with baggage know how to carry heavy sh!t, Hen. I’ve got your back and you’ve got mine. And I think that’s more important than anything.” The combined romance and mystery upped the intrigue, and was an overall well-paced and action-packed success! The cliffhanger at the end gave us so many shocking answers, and yet sprung up the most urgent questions of all 😳 (Highly recommend the added bonus content of Roman’s Epilogue). Something about Lola’s writing is so addictive, and I’m stoked to see how she wraps up the trilogy 😊

Henley Clark is a unique wolf shifter with an ability that is coveted by all of the packs. Her presence in a pack enables them to resist the forced changing into their wolf form. Ever since Henley joined the New York Pack strange murders have been occurring. There are no clues as to who has been committing the murders, except the victims smell like Henley. Henley, Roman and their friends are determined to find out what's going on and how it is all connected to Henley. But the answers they find, they don't like. The girl gang is awesome and it is great to see a group of girls move past their differences and just be friends! Watching the girls help each other out with what they having going on is great! I can't wait for the next one to come out. There were so many bomb shells that I need to know now!! I'm excited to see how Henley and Roman deal with the massive obstacles coming their way. I received and ARC, but all thoughts and opinions are my own.

I adored this sequel and am now finding me impatient to read the sequel to this one. So much depth is in this work that it does take a bit to process everything that happens. A refresher of the previous work is helpful if you can’t remember what happened because you need to read the first to understand what is going on in this one. The tension between the main female and male is insane and finally gets some relief but not completely. Henley must grow emotionally in a very significant way in order to maintain the relationships she's now finding are of the utmost importance to her. The group of women with which she finds comfort and joy; the mate that she discovers means the world to her. As secrets from Henley's past are uncovered, and her unique abilities truly come in to play, both she and Roman may have to make sacrifices they are unprepared just to keep Henley alive. The cliffhanger ending on this one was spectacular and emotionally brutal. I could not put this one down and I AM DYING for the final book. Henley's journey is playing out beautifully and the relationship that she and Roman are developing is both HAWT and #goals. This is one of my favorite series of the year!!

Thank you Lola for the review copy! I'm loving this series! I could not put the book down! I'm really loving Henley and Roman's story. I love that they are both growing and learning through this, and that they're working through their stuff. I like seeing Henley's healing process. I like that it's not rushed, and that she can still fall back on her old habits (ie run away when things get hard) and it feels very realistic. I very much appreciate that love doesn't just magically fix her. I'm still Thank you Lola for the review copy! I'm loving this series! I could not put the book down! Ok, now I'm really digging this. Still a few times where some better editing could happen (like characters interacting are outside but then suddenly they're inside with no transition/explanation and I'm pretty sure Gunner's name changed to Garrett on accident, though only once). But the story is interesting and it's a fresh take to werewolf lore (at least to me). Just, don't look at the covers... The model portraying Henley doesn't look anywhere as badass as she is. Lol! Unexpected surprise I truly enjoyed these two book. They remind me of Erica Wood’s Hunted series. I love Roman and while Henley can seem a bit dramatic at times, her past would certainly help cause her reactions. Read now!

Enthralling The character development is so well done, I could barely put the book down even to get to bed at 2:30 this morning. It's 2 p.m. and the only thing I've accomplished is getting the dog fed. I read books 1 and 2 in two days. I'm hoping #3 comes out on my day off too!
