This was really enjoyable! I'm glad that Marvel is moving forward to bring awareness to Indigenous comic book illustrators and writers. It was also great to see the work of some authors that I'm familiar. What is interesting about this is that these characters seem to be characters that have already existed in the Marvel Universe and this is a reimagining that does away with a lot of stereotypes that existed in the work before. These are all one shots so we don't get a full story which is perfec This was really enjoyable! Great Little Indian Comic I don’t often read comics, but had to make an exception once I knew Jones and Roanhorse were involved in this! The world needs more indigenous art. We need to infuse our histories and cultures into more contemporary narratives and highlight our troubled past, our troublesome present, and speculate our prosperous and joyful future.

Smashing start to what I hope will be a long running series. The breathtaking artwork and brilliant storytelling will not disappoint. Although I enjoyed all three stories, the painfully exquisite Silver Fox: Blue Moon is a standout for me (brought me to tears). Looking forward to more from these authors.

I'm down to clown with superheros, it's a genre that I adore immensely in all it's wonderful and varied glory. And I can't lie, the Marvel series of movies (and tv shows, yep, I fucking love SHIELD) are definitely tasty morsels. But reading this at the same time as all the big "what's coming" announcements from Disney/Marvel just fucking pisses me off. Why am I getting twelve hundred variants and side stories of the same fucking characters over and over and over again? This anthology (and the ot I'm down to clown with superheros, it's a genre that I adore immensely in all it's wonderful and varied glory. And I can't lie, the Marvel series of movies (and tv shows, yep, I fucking love SHIELD) are definitely tasty morsels. But reading this at the same time as all the big "what's coming" announcements from Disney/Marvel just fucking pisses me off. Why am I getting twelve hundred variants and side stories of the same fucking characters over and over and over again? This anthology (and the other Voices series) is chock full of many, many, many more interesting stories and characters than some shitty retelling of the time that Tony Stark made a new coffee pot or that Loki went and did something wacky.

Mirage: Multifaceted by Darcie Little Badger, Kyle Charles and Felipe Sobreiro is the story of a young mutant who gets in trouble and needs a little support from other mutants and his tribe.Silver Fox: Blue Moon by Stephen Graham Jones, David What a little gem! There are three segments with known Marvel entities, as well as a really well done intro with a Watcher that feels like there should be several more segments to get everyone in. However, this is only #1. My favorite was the middle segment with Dani Moonstar, but there are some nice touches throughout, and some good art by less familiar artists.
