Helpful guide for those struggling As the author notes, this book is aimed at people with less severe diagnoses or no diagnoses at all. Meaning this book will not help you with severe problems like schizophrenia or a personality disorder, but if you are realizing that your thought patterns are harming you this book can help. This book looks in depth at things like OCD, anxiety, body dismorphic, etc and helps end those negative thought spirals that lead your self-esteem down so low you feel worthl Helpful guide for those struggling As the author notes, this book is aimed at people with less severe diagnoses or no diagnoses at all. Meaning this book will not help you with severe problems like schizophrenia or a personality disorder, but if you are realizing that your thought patterns are harming you this book can help. This book looks in depth at things like OCD, anxiety, body dismorphic, etc and helps end those negative thought spirals that lead your self-esteem down so low you feel worthless. I liked that the author really comes across empathetic and attuned to the reader. It connects the reader to the material and we get a sense that he cares. I liked that this book can cover those gaps where mental healthcare may lack or be non existant. Overall, I found this book helpful in rebuilding my flagging self image.
