I’m the best quarterback in my college’s history. Best numbers, best plays. That gets me what I want, anything I want, except what I need…new girl Kimberly. Kimberly is every man’s fantasy, but I can’t have her. She’s the only woman who has ever told me no. So, of course, I can’t stop thinking about her. She’s smart, gorgeous, and has a wicked sense of humor. We got close, but no I’m the best quarterback in my college’s history. Best numbers, best plays. Kimberly flipped the script, I messed up, and now, I wasn’t sure if I’d lost her for good. How could one kiss change everything and another destroy it? Note: Adults Only!

    Romance All the Way

DNF at 38% The plot was too slow and boring. The characters were irritating and annoying. I'm disappointed, because usually books written by Lauren Wood are fabulous, but not this one. Maybe the next book will be better. DNF at 38% The plot was too slow and boring. The characters were irritating and annoying. Dennis likes Kimberly too, but once he accidentally sees more of Kimberly, he is suddenly a bit more desperate to be more with her. Will he convince Kimberly they can be more? Or will Kimberly not want to take the risk with the popular football player? I enjoyed this friends to lovers romance, I loved Kimberly (she was sassy, and a tell it how it is woman, or at least mostly is), but sometimes I found Dennis a bit frustrating (with the time he took) although he is an easy to like guy. I am voluntarily reviewing a copy I received, and giving my thoughts and opinions on it.

Dennis is the BMOC in college. He is a great quarterback and is very popular. All the girls want to be his, especially mean girl Chelsea. So when new girl Kimberly joins the student body, Chelsea and some of the other girls in her posse decide to make her life miserable. And boy does she. She goes above and beyond. One reason Chelsea hates Kimberly is Dennis's reaction to her. There was chemistry and sexual tension between them. But Kimberley is not interested in a relationship with Dennis. One reason is the people he hangs with. His friend group includes Chelsea and her posse. As far as the other reasons... they're in the book. This is an absolutely incredible read and I expect nothing less from Lauren Wood. I wholeheartedly recommend this book and this author. Remember, if you want to read a book you can't put down, you have to pick it up first.

This book brings us Dennis and Kimberly. They meet in school and Dennis is instantly attracted to her. Kimberly, however, is new to the school and there are some pretty mean girls that are there, and are interested in Dennis, Chelsea in particular. Chelsea enjoys sticking it to Kimberly. I just didn't get why Dennis remained friends with her group knowing what they were capable of doing. Kimberly wanted something more with Dennis but didn't want to deal with his "group." Kimberly also should have contacted authorities regarding her car being scratched up. This was just an ok read for me. I did receive an arc for an honest review.

I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book. This isn't my favorite story by this author, I didn't connect with either Dennis or Kimberly, they met when Kimberly was lost on campus and Dennis showed her around. They became the best of friends who had feelings for the other and kept quiet about it. There are really unlikable second characters and I didn't understand Dennis and Chelsea's relationship. There is plenty of drama and intrigue. I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book. Dennis is the best quarterback in his college's history and Kimberly is the new girl on campus. Dennis and Kimberly become friends but when he starts feeling more for her but she's the only girl who has turned him down. This is a friends to lovers, emotional romance with plenty of angst, drama, steam, and some very unexpected twists. Overall a good read and I look forward to reading more books by this author in the future. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book. Dennis and Kimberly are friends but deep inside they would like something more than friendship. Kimberly is every guys dream smart and beautiful inside and out not to mention she is the only girl that turned him down. Now Dennis is obsessed with Kimberly. Will he be able to get her to change her mind and take a chance on him? I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC for an honest review.

Dennis is the star quarterback of the college team and he has eyes on Kimberly. Their chemical attraction is palpable in the story, but Kimberly is not interested in a relationship with Dennis but a friendship blooms and kept secret. No spoilers. Great characters and storyline and it will keep you captivated from the start. I volunteered to review this story.

That was a superb no. The writing reminds me of a freshman year composition class. The main characters had the thought process of junior high school children...forced myself to finish since I’ve been in a book funk, but that was not it.

Enjoyable But A Little Unbelievable The book was pretty good and I enjoyed it. But it was pretty angsty and I can't really believe that anyone would make the choices that the hero and heroine made. I read the book for free on KU.
