I soaked this damn book up like a sponge. I couldn't put it down and finished it in three-ish days (I don't count the 6 pages I read before passing out on the 27th). There was such an incredible amount of character development, story progression, plot twists, and more. Carney took a simple genre concept of LITRPG and ran with it, creating this amazing series with characters that I've grown so fond of (and some I despise with a passion, but that's for a good reason). I could totally see this world that Carney created becoming a super series with different novellas, side stories, and other series involving different historical points in the Realms. Especially with the introduction/explanations of historical events. *SEMI VAGUE SPOILERS?!* This change in the storyline allows so much more potential futures to unfold. It also opened up the realization that there's more than just the big bad Aluran. There are other people stronger than him that even he is scared of.

Brilliant addition to The Realms series. I was happy to see some returning faces (well done) and I am looking forward to seeing the climax (and sad). A remarkably smart and hilarious epic written by CM blending action, humor, and gaming mechanics like no one else. I look ever forward to the series ending (or not!?) and the “return of the Wick” ;) Book Favorites Character Xeg (hilariously written) "You am no boss of Xeg”, the imp complained, but then Tifala’s eyes fell on him and he giggled, a distu Brilliant addition to The Realms series. Abstaining does nothing but hand victory to those without your moral strengths.”

Adventurous but predictable The Ravaged Land looks to wrap up many loose threads at once as we move to the series finale. Action, forced comic relief and lots of death abound. But fans of the series will enjoy this installment with a surprise reveal at the fag end. You win some you loose some but given the authors penchant for a giving a way out even for permanently dead characters hope to see the major cast reunited when all is said and done. looking to read the next in the series.

What a series I greatly recommend this book. It is very much an heir to the epic fantasy novels like the dark tower, with powerful characters going on long adventures where the stakes raise equivalently with each adventure - culminating in this wonderful ode toward the finale which will be the next book. Loved it.

I really like this series I wasn't sure where this first book was going, but the characters continued to evolve as the plot kept growing larger and larger. Wow, what a rollercoaster ride. Once you get into the flow, it will grip your attention and n ot let go. I was unhappy at the end of book 7 because now I have to wait until book 8 gets released. Please hurry! Very good More griff - all griff really and the story really moves forward. Lots of stat increases as well. Some very minor stat weirdness - griff gets +100 to multiple stats twice this story and then talks about the surge in strength from a temporary +5 burst from his coatl. Not a huge deal but stuck out to me. Interested for the change of scenery the next one promises

Yet Another Amazing continuation in the Saga of Gryph Fantastic book! Has definitely paid off in the intrigue and story leading up to it so far. I fully recommend this book and series to anyone who enjoyed litrpg, D&D, or sci-fi fantasy

A roller coaster ride of twists and turns One of the best series out there. This continuation just raises the bar. It both clarifies and brings out a whole other slew of questions. Can’t wait for Book 8.

Gryph is back But you see him first as Finn back on Earth. Puzzle pieces and events are put back together, and the Old gods return to Korynn. What a ride!

Great series I love the story and how it is starting to tie all together. The series finds a good balance between storytelling and leveling/skills.

The next one will be the finale...this, I felt, bogged down in the middle, but got REAL good long before the finish...
