SECONDARY CHARACTERS The secondary characters were good. I believe they had their story from pervious books, so I am looking forward to reading the other books. Overall, likable story, love the concept and curious to read the other doctors stories from the pervious books. ***I don’t equate these stories to real life. It’s about personal taste and what you would or want to tolerate with the books you read. I know we all have different opinions and preferences with what we read and hope this review was helpful. Irish Doctors Babies I bought this book because it had four and five stars with good reviews. The story concept was good yet it was disappointing. There was to much focus on explicit sex than a one night stand man finding out he’s a father. I personally feel a book doesn’t need to use a lot of F and C words. I think explaining how he can feel himself getting hard gets the point across without being crude. They made arrangements to meet and talk over the twins yet alway ended up having sex. Then Kenna would leave because it was a mistake. Kenna was furious with Finn because she raised the twins without him for two years. She goes into detail of staying up at night, Sophia cutting her knee. Just reading that was ridiculous Finn had no idea he had children. It was very annoying that no matter what he said about wanting to be a father Kenna got mad. There is very little interaction with Sam and Sophia and their father throughout the whole book. That was disappointing, daddy taking them to his place for dinner and a movie. Daddy visiting them at their house. There was so much negativity on Finn’s ability to be a father there wasn’t any room left in the book for daddy time. Finn had to always prove himself to Kenna. Like Finn said if she really put effort on finding him it could have been done. He lost two important years with his twins growing up. Then in a blink of an eye there’s the epilogue with Sam and Sophia.

He was smirking at her knowing she was watching him intently. She finished her wine, then heard him ask the bartender to refill her glass, and she loved the sound of his Irish brogue. When she looked up from her drink, he was gone… but not far as she heard him whisper in her ear from behind her! The rest of the evening was getting to know each other, more drinks, and a trip up to his room. Finn is a doctor returning Ireland. He invites her for a last drink up in his room. After a wonderful night together, Kenna finds herself alone in the morning and a short note to thank her for the time they spent. Three years later Finn returns to America and meets his first patient of the day – Kenna, along with two beautiful babies he would swear look familiar to him! Thinking she would never run into Finn again, she never revealed the father’s name. Should she tell Finn her secret now? Is he only here for a short time? No matter what else happens, the revelation will release a ton of emotions! I loved this story. The characters were wonderful and likable. Finn will have decisions to make as other information enters the story. Will he hesitate to do the right thing, whatever that may be? Grab your copy and enjoy Kenna and Finn’s story.

Finn is sweet and a good guy but he never expected to keep thinking of his one night stand. Kenna never expected her one night stand to have consequences much less have Finn walk back into her life. What a good romance in the making but dang I understand being unsure but it annoyed me how she treated Finn. The story gets good and then wham it wraps up faster than it started. This was an okay read. Normally I like this authors books but this one didn't work for me. Finn and Kenna had a one night stand. Then he goes back to Ireland. Now he is back and he finds out that he has twins. I really disliked how Kenna treated the situation. She refused to let him help with his kids. It was simply because she didn't want to share the kids. It was ridiculous. However, in the end she came to her senses. This was an okay read. Did they really solve anything? Well the book definitely has sex scenes and masturbatory fantasy scenes that are a trend in romance I could skip all together. Like I get that rubbing one out is healthy and normal and I don't fault the characters for that. I just don't need to read pages upon pages of it. The two year old have exceptionally advanced vocabularies and motor skills so they read more like 4 year olds. Most of their scenes are with their grandparents. The thing is the premise is interesting but all of the romance parts where they deal with feelings and the life parts where they're supposed to figuring things out are either summarized, skipped or devolve into another sex scene. There were so many they became tedious and boring. And if they weren't having sex they were fantasizing about it. The story had numerous unnecessary characters who only actually interact with one lead or the other for the purpose of a conversation and don't really participate in the real plot. It was just not enough for me as a reader and I wanted more.

Finn and Kenna had a hot one night stand that brought two surprises. They unexpectedly cross path three years later to the same explosive chemistry. But is he ready to be a father and commit to a life with them, as a family? Kenna is cautious and reticent to let Finn in. She runs hot and cold that gets annoying. I felt bad for Finn. The story became repetitive as they never made progress in their discussion about the kids since the main way they communicate is sex. I thought this was going to be a really cute one. I couldn’t stand Kenna whatsoever. She jumped to conclusions and just assumed he a) didn’t want to be involved and b) would be a bad father. Give the guy a chance! Yes you may have became a mom when you found out about them but you also had 9 months to plan and prepare yourself before they actually arrived and then you have the audacity to not let him come to terms with having kids and know what he’s supposed to be doing the minute after he finds I thought this was going to be a really cute one. Irishman I've only read a few books that I've clicked out of and not finished. This is one of them. I guess I feel that the lead female is excessive in her behavior. I stopped at the end of chapter nineteen. I don't understand how the expectations can be so high and get the woman can be so ridiculously over the top. Ok read It was a good book but I didn’t like the fact that the twins didn’t meet their dad till the end of the book it was mostly about the sex between Finn & Kenna ( it actually really annoyed me that there was no relationship between the kids and their dad.)

A bit disappointed I still haven’t received the extended epilogue. The story was great but, once reunited, it was a very fast strangers to lovers romance. Also, don’t hate on me but the sex took up most of the in person dialogue.

The Search for a Good Man Who Can Become a Better Man and a Loving Father It takes a mighty good man to be better than no man at all. And, it takes an even better man, with love in his heart, to be a father. But when the 23-year-old Kenna Jameson, a hazel-eyed party planner with wavy brown hair and a waifish figure, met a tall, dashing Irishman with auburn hair and eyes as green as clover at the bar of the luxury hotel where she had successfully managed a party for Gia’s Events, all she could thi The Search for a Good Man Who Can Become a Better Man and a Loving Father It takes a mighty good man to be better than no man at all. And, it takes an even better man, with love in his heart, to be a father. But when the 23-year-old Kenna Jameson, a hazel-eyed party planner with wavy brown hair and a waifish figure, met a tall, dashing Irishman with auburn hair and eyes as green as clover at the bar of the luxury hotel where she had successfully managed a party for Gia’s Events, all she could think about was that a romp with the man would be a perfect ending to a perfect day. She certainly did not consider the nature of the man when, with a lilting Irish accent that was sexy as f*ck, he introduced himself as Finn and explained that he had been attending a medical conference in Denver. And, when she awoke in his empty penthouse hotel room with only a note thanking her for a good time and signed only with his first name—Finn—she didn’t spend a great deal of time pondering much other luxury of the room and the soaps, oils and emollients supplied in the room when she showered before departing. No, she didn’t give the man or the night much thought until a month later when she gazed in disbelief at the twin pink lines on the pregnancy test. Now, almost 3 years later, as a mother, Kenna thinks often of the qualities required of a good man, a loving father, and how such a man would help her with the day-to-day challenges of parenting—not one, but two beautiful children—Sophia and Sam. And she knows that she has support—she and the children live with her parents, and her job—which she loves with Gia’s Events—has continued to advance, and soon, she may be a offered partnership in the company. But still, in her quiet moments, dreams of parenting with a good man who is an even better father— of what it would be like to share the load—like when she is juggling her work schedule with her “mom” schedule. She reflects on how moments like a visit to the pediatrician for an annual check-up and booster shots for one child can be a challenge, and for a single mom with two children, even more daunting. So, when Kenna arrives at the doctor’s office only to be told that the doctor is out with an injured ankle and that a substitute doctor will be seeing her children, Kenna takes the change in stride, just happy to not need to reschedule the appointments. And, her relief lasts until the door opens to reveal the face of Dr. Finnegan O’Connor—a man whose eyes are the same clover green as Sophia’s eyes and whose auburn hair and freckled nose and cheeks are mirrors of Sam’s face—a man who only looked for one night and no in-person goodbyes 3 years earlier. KC Crowne’s newest romance provides the reader with a twisted path of love as two passing strangers, separated by distance, time and missing information, are reunited by fate and shared friends. But the path to truelove is never straight or smooth when the fears of the past try to crash into the present. But, with friends who are like family, providing support and guidance, even the most intimidating challenges can be met with confidence. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review, but I bought a copy for my “read again” collection.

Kenna was a natural go-getter she had to be and she was totally excited over her up and coming gig with a couple fists bumps she headed back to her office. One night is all it took to change her future but at least she still had the support of her family. However fate can have a wicked since of humor especially when he walked into an exam room and there was the woman he couldn't forget... And she had twins. After they left she couldn't help but let the worst thoughts take over her more rational mind. Finn was more then ready for his final patient of the day's spoiled rotten mom to leave. Kenna was in a pickle they were now having to rush to finish everything for their new date which just had to be Valentine's day of all dates to choice. The last thing she expected when she'd gone over to her friends was to run into the last person she had been avoiding at any cost and that was Dr. Hot stuff Finn. There was something there that kept nagging at him that he just couldn't figure out. Kissing, kissing was a good thing and yeah she tried pushing him away however he wasn't one to be swayed so easily. What Kenna really wanted? She wanted to not want him and his bumptious attitude just did something to her. Until she made one fatal slip of the tongue and all the pieces fell into place for him. Then it was all her fears coming to life so Kenna felt more then justified by her egregious point of view and her hiss-fit. Finn was having a hard time navigating all the concrete walls she kept putting up everytime he was around her. They were supposed to be working on resolving there issues but instead he was wagging a sensual battle that neither of them might survive. But at some point it always came back to the same sour notes between them and honestly he couldn't win for losing with her not willing to give him an inch. The sparks between Finn and Kenna are ignited in a night full of hot passion. Finn leaves with only a note and flies back to Ireland. Three years pass, Kenna has two-year-old twins, a boy, and a girl. Finn returns to work at Pitt Medical. Could it be fate these two are destined to meet again? While at a pediatrician's appointment with Sam and Sophia, Kenna is startled to see Finn as the attending doctor. Shock is an understatement on both their faces. She never expected to see him again. She always thought her secret would be safe. Finn notices the resemblance between the twins. Both having his green eyes and Sam his auburn hair and freckles. Was it possible he was a Da? The truth comes out at a party Duncan and Annie are hosting. Unfortunately, Kenna is reluctant to let Finn back in her life let alone a relationship with the twins. Finally, when she lets her guard down, Finn leaves, without a word, for Ireland. She’s unaware of the reason he’s leaving. All is forgiven, once Kenna realizes, he went home to be with his father, who had a stroke. You will fall in love with Finn and Kenna’s story. The new family will embrace their long-awaited happily-ever-after, Finn, Kenna, Sam, and Sophia makes four. I love how KC interacts with Duncan/Annie and Gavin/Gia as reoccurring characters from her other books. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

They knew Finn would be leaving the next morning to head back home to Ireland, and they only shared their first names. Three years later Finn had a falling out with his father, and Finn decided to leave Ireland returning to Denver, when a friend from med school offered him a position in a clinic there. Over the years he had thought of Kenna and he thought of her again being back in Denver, there was just something different about her. A lot had changed for Kenna in that time period as she had become the mother of twins, Sam and Sophia, they were two years olds and thanks to her parents she was doing fine as a single parent. Her Dad had built a guest house in the back yard for them live, so they had some independence. Kenna had no idea Finn was back until she took the twins in for booster shots and guess who the doctor was. The kids loved him right off, but Kenna wanted to exnore him. No way that was going to happen when Kenna's boss, Gia was married to Gavin another doctor in the clinic with Finn and the big boss was having a party that weekend. Finn was still attracted to Kenna as much as she was to him and everyone could see it. Plus, Finn was soon going to figure out the twins were his. Life was about to have a whole new meaning for everyone. This was a great read of family coming first. I do believe there could have been some additional editing as I seemed to read the same paragraphs over in different areas of the book. Once for an explanation would be enough for the entire book. Selfish, narcissistic, "heroine" who thinks she's all her toddlers need is so off course. Kenna is the scourge of mothers having had children out of wedlock. Hence, she was NOT doing it all herself, and she had no right to judge Finn by all her alleged imaginings of his character. She had no idea who he really was -- she had seen only one side of him, after all -- and she should have been morally moved to apprise Finn of his children. That he felt drawn to them, and felt connected even without knowing their background speaks to his character and Irish genetics. (That sixth sense). I despise women like Kenna. She wouldn't have been so arrogant and condescending about Finn had she actually been struggling to raise her babies on her own. How infuriating -- I almost wish Finn really didn't want her, too, as nasty as her thought processes were toward him when she.really knew nothing about the kind of person he actually was underneath his facade that he presented to the world. One star, because if she actually was a true mothering parent, having had a loving set of parents herself, and was in possession of a thinking brain that wasn't filled with preconceived imaginings, she would have been a different character. However, I suppose the writer wanted conflict and word count, but such an unrealistic single mother who was supposed to be intelligent and.from a normal upbringing wasn't the way to go. Kenna was unappealing, attractive to only Finn. Hated her.

He moves to the US to work in the medical clinic of Duncan and Gavin. He went to medical school with Duncan. Duncan is married to Annie (book 1 in the series) and Gia is married to Gavin (book 2). They are all very good friends with Kenna. They do not however know that Finn is the father of her twins Sam and Sophie. Never expecting to see Finn again she is more than shocked to meet the kids' pediatrician, Finn and then to see him again at her friends' party. During dinner she accidentally reveals to Finn that he is the father of the twins. Kenna and Finn see fireworks everytime they are together. She is either angry at Finn for not being a father to Sam and Sophie or she is in Finn's arms. I understand her waffling between what she wants and what is best for her kids but she is a little hard in him. Finn is unsure how to be a father. Besides not only did he just learn he has two kids but the example his dad gave growing up was severely lacking. Finn tries so hard to do what is right as a father and Kenna needed to back off a little with the criticism. The story held my attention and I was rooting for the couple to make it. After several stumbles they do have the happy ending. We also meet Finn's rolling stone of a brother Patrick, with him being the next book.

That was frustrating to me that he never questioned anything or looked at their birthdays in the chart that he had. Even when someone at the party said the kids looked like him... really??? These two share mutual friends and are at a dinner party together with all their friends and children when Dr. Finn put 2+2 together.... finally! I was really into this book, I couldn't put it down! I thought Finn and Kenna had amazing chemistry, but they had big time problems with communication! Kenna got on my nerves a little as she didn't want to give him a chance when he initially found out he was a Daddy. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is I wanted to see the twins interact with Finn as the previous times they met him, they loved him. I would have also liked to see the couple build on their relationship a little more then the rushed ending. I Love any book with an Epilogue, I just needed a little more as it was somewhat vague. I've read many of KC's books and love her style. Overall, a good book and definitely worth a one click! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

He's never forgotten Kenna and he's surprised to find out that she has children. She's in shock because she never expected to see him again and she starts worrying that he's going to put two and two together and figure out that the twins are his. When he finally figures out that the twins are his, he wants to be a part of their lives, but Kenna's scared. He does everything to let her know that he wants to be there for her and the kids but, being the typical male, he goes about it the wrong way. Now a Mum of twins Kenna was doing it tuff but with her parents help she gets by but she often wonders what Finn would think if he new he had kid, best not to dwell on such things because he is somewhere in Ireland. It’s the kids checkup at the doctors and needle time so it’s going to be a night mare but there dr is away so they see his stand in and when they walk in she is shocked to see Finn is there in the flesh and still as hot as ever, when Finn sees Kenna the woman he dreams about all the time walk through the door with two kids he broke a little inside thinking she has someone else. But then realising she not wearing a ring so maybe she single well he hoped she was and the kids are so cute but there was something about them that seemed familiar that he couldn’t put his finger on but they looked like Kenna as well. How will it all go when he learns the truth that the kids are his, and can they have a future together as a family at all if they cannot get over the past and learn to trust each other. Great book loved it and I cannot wait for the next one. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
