The Firefighter’s Calendar: Quarter 1 contains the first three stories in Kate Tilney’s captivating and romantic series. I previously tread each of these stories at the time of release, and have added my reviews here for your perusal: JANUARY Mr. January is the first story in Kate Tilney’s Firefighter Calendar series and definitely sets the scene for what is sure to be a sensual and addictive series. Adam only agreed to do the Calendar shoot as it raised money and awareness for his favourite charity, but he has since regretted his decision based on women’s reactions. Rory is determined to knuckle down and dedicate the next few months to nothing but study and finish her degree so she can start teaching. But her well-meaning friend has other ideas that lead to an intervention by a sexy Fire Marshall and thoughts of hot, steamy nights beneath his muscular body. Rory and Adam certainly have an abundance of chemistry, and fighting their undeniable attraction becomes impossible; but misunderstandings, well meaning, but interfering friends and feeling undervalued may ruin this budding relationship before it even begins. Will Rory be able to convince Adam that she is genuine and not just out to add a Firefighter to her conquests? Let’s hope that a little communication and some well laid plans can heal the hurt that was never intended. Mr. January was a wonderful start to a new series and only makes me eager for the next exciting instalment from Ms Tilney! FEBRUARY Mr. February is the second instalment in Kate Tilney’s Firefighters Calendar series and what an engaging and enjoyable story it is. Dawson promised to watch out for his best friends’ little sister but keeping his hands-off vow might just be the hardest thing he ever does. Axel warned his sister Caris to keep her distance from his womanising friend, but one accident after another make distance impossible and the sizzling chemistry make breaking the rules enticing. Mr. February is a wonderful addition to the Firefighters Calendar series with its laugh out loud moments and undeniable attraction, so sit back and enjoy and let your appetite be whet for more Alpha yumminess. MARCH Mr. March is the third instalment in Kate Tilney’s The Firefighters Calendar and this one absolutely captured my heart. Bridget and Aiden are wonderful engaging characters and Aiden’s daughter Zoey is adorable. It was also refreshing to see a well-balanced co-parenting relationship between Aiden, Meredith and Dax (Meredith’s new husband). Glitter aside (and we all know how it gets EVERYWHERE) this is definitely one of my favourite reads by this talented and passionate author. I can’t wait for Mr. April! There are still nine more stories to complete the series, and I for one am very excited for what’s to come!

Rory, in her last semester of college, is throwing a party in her condo when the fire marshal arrives due an over-capacity complaint. The fire marshal, Adam, just happens to be Mr January in a new national firefighter charity calendar. Mr February - A brother's best friend instalove romance. Caris has just moved back to Minnesota and in with her brother to finish her clinical studies for nursing school. While her firefighter brother is away for a week, she accidentally sets a fire in the microwave, and the next-door-neighbour - Caris' brother's best friend and fellow firefighter AND Mr. February in a national calendar - comes to her rescue. Caris' brother had warned Dawson off about his sister, and had always warned Caris off about Dawson. But despite them both trying to stay away from one another, when a fire has been lit, sometimes you just have to let it burn. Mr March - A sweet, steamy older man-younger woman novella that will give you all the feels. Aiden is a forty-year old firefighter, chosen as Mr. March for a national charity calendar, but his most important role is father to his six-year old daughter, Zoey. Bridget is a young teacher in her first full year, and as she prepares for her first parent-teacher conferences, she accidentally sets the coffee pot in the teachers' lounge on fire. Fortunately, Aiden is wandering down the hall and comes to her rescue for a hilarious and adorably hot meet-cute. Aiden and Bridget are perfect for one another and have enough heat that to set off every smoke detector in the school - but they quickly discover Bridget is his daughter's teacher. Will they be able to fight their instant and intense attraction - or is true love worth breaking the rules? The queen of instalove romance delivers three short but highly entertaining, steamy and sweet romances that will provide enough heat to keep you warm on those cold winter nights! When Rory's out going friend invites a few people over for a party, they numbers get out of hand and the fire marshal is called. Adam is called out to close down a party that is over the limit he did not expect the beauty that was in front of him. Although the is an instant connection, he was not sure if was him she was attracted to or the idea of him being Mr. January. Looking forward to next 11 months. Mr. February Caris has returning back to the Twin City for work, needing a place to stay, her brother offered a place to stay, but with a warning to stay away from Dawson. Dawson made it to the national firemen calendar, and with that comes the ladies, but for him they are not all his type. Caris and Dawson is a great story, from the microwave fire, to the oven smoking and snow angles. Caris's character is strong and determined as she moved cities to further her career. Dawson is a great guy, although other may think he is more of a play boy. Their relation is fun, sweet and supportive. Definitely a great read. Mr. March This is Bridget's first year teaching and she is doing everything she can to not mess it up, but the teacher / parent conference day is not going well. Aidan is a fire fighter, when he walks into his daughter's school his attention is drawn to the smell of smoke. When he gets to the teacher's lounge, he jumps into action to cut off a disaster. Mr. March start off getting you heart pumping, the will lead you down the road that will have you smiling and laughing. Anyone you has tried to decorate with glitter will understand. The characters and story-lines are a great mix but they are all well written, have an instant love connection, humor, fun and a major smoking hot passion between each couple. All I can say is that I am eagerly awaiting reading the rest of this series as Kate Tilney publishes one book at the beginning of each month.....just like I eagerly await flipping the page on my firefighter calendar each month.
