It was really interesting to learn about Russian bear dogs (Ukrainian sheepdogs).

This one was very cute. I loved the role that the dogs played and how Valentin wasn't like other dogs. Tanya was interesting too, love how she kept her protection detail on their feet. But I really liked the connection that she had with Alex and Valentin. It was fun to see Tanya really throw Alex when she propositioned him. The action at the end was a bit crazy, but I liked how finally Alex's superior was able to see he and Valentin knew what they were doing. This one was very cute. great dog story too short. What happens next? The dog is the matchmaker and protector in this story. Could have fleshed out the characters more but it wouldn’t be a short story then.

I enjoyed the story. Short storyline about dogs, protection details and the Ukrainian conflict with Russia over Crimea. M. L. Buchman writes great stories. Read them all!!!

This is a fun book. A dog handler and a Russian Bear dog (think really big and very talented) in the Secret Service. A Ukrainian ambassador under threat. A recipe for romance, suspense, and fun furry tale. Bravo!!

Sorry but the trying to lumber through it was worse than my first reading of Herbert’s Dune, even after seeing the movie. In fact that whole series was less of a chore to read

Still not sure how he kept his job after clearly breaking the rules... Likeable characters and a decent story.
