   It was quite enjoyable to see Chester A. Arthur's State of the Union Addresses in consecutive years. You got to see which issues were taken care of from the previous year, which ones had worked themselves out, and which ones were still issues. The financial reports were quite tedious. It's also clear that Arthur was no great speech writer, and he was quite long winded in his final State of the Union Address. It was quite enjoyable to see Chester A. Arthur's State of the Union Addresses in consecutive years.
