Although this book includes a cool pull-out map on heavy-duty paper, in color, the rest is black and white with no pictures to be found except for a small smattering at the front of the book, before the text begins. The first 11 pages offer "The Best of D.C." and then there's really no need to read the rest. I disliked the organization of the book, as it wasn't conducive to flipping and discovering new things, but rather, you had you already know what you were looking for and go find it within.
