This adaptation has captured most the action from the original novel, yet misses all the wonderful tension built up through the letters and journals. It's captivating and a very quick read; in fact, once I started I couldn't put it down until done. The drawings worked pretty well, and I especially liked how creepy Dr. Van Helsing was drawn. I always thought that the rather strange doctor was almost as creepy as Dracula, and sometimes more so. It’s ok. Not bad. Quick little read. Art is pretty much what you would expect. I should read the actual novel... or, LibriVox it.
