   I could not put down this book, I read it cover-to-cover. What I love most is he speaks in ways I can understand and does not glorify satan. If you enjoy learning about the "other" realm and are careful in using this information, you will love this book. Father Thomas is the faithful of the faithful. This is a perfect book to purchase for your priest, a religious, yourself, or a friend who wants to learn more about this part of our Catholic faith. I bought and read it right when it came out, and I'm very glad I did! Rey. This is an excellent Compendium if one is interested in the ritual of Exorcism. For years I have been wondering about an experience I had while serving as a Youth Leader for a Catholic youth group and I have to say this book has finally answer what I've always wonder ? what that was the night of Intersession Prayer that happens at a retreat. It was late Saturday night and as I step out of the boys dorms at the retreat camp, I heard a struggle and I rapidly ran towards it. I looked through a window and there on the floor I saw a Priest and a young men been held by others as he scream and struggle to get loose. I walked into the room and I pray to our Lord Jesus Christ present in the blessed Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist and asked for his guidance since I was in charge of this group attending the retreat. I suddenly went blank and the Lord implanted in my mind to take it away. I did not understand what, but as I search for and amulet of some sore I found it around his neck and I yank it of. He of course complain and yelled at me that I was taking it away. I knelt before the Blessed Sacrament and I ask for guidance at which the Lord in my mind said to get Holy Water. Since I had no idea what to do with it, I brought the Holy Water before him and I asked what to do next, there was no answer so I preceded to dump the amulet into the vase holding the Holy Water, as I did I bad odor arise. I now understand what I just read on page 29 Chapter 2 number 12, What do demons look like ? this is the book that will answer many question and open our Hearts and Soul to the on going Spiritual Warfare we all face today with more intensity than before do to new technology readily available to all of us. This Book is a must in your shelve of favorite books. Hope my little story helps. I highly recommend this book to everyone. You will not be disappointed.

   This book was absolutely fascinating. The author, an experienced exorcist, uses a question and answer format to explain the basics on demons, demonic oppression, exorcisms, and related topics like a Catholic teachings on whether ghosts exist (short answer is no.) Anecdotes regarding the author's experiences in exorcisms are used to summarize each chapter's point. Along the way the author corrects misapprehensions about exorcisms, particularly those caused by Hollywood. Overall I'd highly recommen This book was absolutely fascinating. Even more so I'd recommend this book to our priests, whom the author admits is his primary audience.
