    I live in a school district in New Mexico with a high percentage of Native American students, and this book has been invaluable in increasing my understanding of issues we face, such as language, the role of BIA schools, and Native American perspectives on education. It seems like this should be required reading for anyone dealing with school districts with Native kids.
